The Sydney Boulevard Hotel

Staff were friendly, location was not too bad, room with great view and generous size, however, room was dated, shower was awful, nor understand hotel housekeeping policy no service if you don’t a sign in it, they only do housekeeping every 4th night, overall not too bad but lots of things to improve. 5/10

It was nice staying on the upper floors again with proper closets and decent shower. We have stayed in this establishment many times over the last few years. We weren’t as pleased with our stay in Nov ‘25 when we were given a lower floor.

Clean room , nice room , good location

Location was perfect, staff was wonderful, and the room was very comfortable. However, the internet was unsuable most of the time, and the bathroom in my room could use some updates. All in all, a lovely stay.

Staff were not professional at all, internet did not work and was slow, complained several times nothing changed, complained at checkout they offered nothing. The chair in the room was filthy and broken had to request to change it as I had to work during my stay. They do not clean rooms daily and even if you leave the sign they would do it very late so if you come back at 2 pm it wont be done.

The accommodations were comfortable, cool and clean. Front desk staff were super helpful and welcoming. It’s always a bonus when housekeeping are seen actively cleaning and maintaining common areas. Will definitely be back when visiting Woolloomooloo.

Lovely staff. Room was a good size. Bed was comfortable however the bathroom shower and bath was a little dated. Overall would stay again. Great location

I want to be clear. The staff were excellent, the place was clean. This is not a review that can be ‘blamed’ on the staff. This is a review about the state of this hotel. It is the most beat up, run down and outdated place I’ve stayed at. Which is fine if you weren’t paying $450 a night. Everything is barely working (TV, aircon, gym equipment), it looks like a hotel that hasn’t been update for decades. Total greed by management / owners squeezing out as much profit, with as little investment possible. This would barely make a 3 start hotel. Fine if we were paying $200 or less perhaps, but to charge $450 for this place is astounding. Absolute greed. We’ll never stay here again- you’d be better off finding a boutique hotel in Surry Hills than this place. Ps - staff were great.

overall good….the booking said daily housekeeping but it turned out not to be correct. The housekeeping staff were VERY nice and helpful , but one expects beds to be made up daily, bins emptied and clean towels daily without having to ask everday downstairs.

Great service and staff good room great view

Room was spacious and clean. Close proximity to restaurants and bars. Bit of a walk to the nearest train station if you have mobility issues.
