We had a lovely time at this hotel! The place itself is beautiful and well-maintained. A huge shoutout to the room service staff who were prompt and professional. However, be aware that the on-site restaurant charges a €6 cover fee per person just to sit down, regardless of whether you are a guest or not. While the food was good, this extra charge felt a bit steep. Aside from that, everything was excellent.

What truly stood out was the overall experience. The room is different as it’s not at the main building. And 10 mins walk from the main hotel to the unit.
Stuff are unfriendly. And it’s over priced.
Check in strictly at 3pm and when check out their counter staff only operated at 8am when we are rushing for 0810 ferry.

The hotel’s location is perfect, right next to the boat station and I’m so glad I chose to stay here. The room was spacious and comfortable and the balcony view of the lake was absolutely incredible. I enjoyed having coffee on the balcony while watching both the sunrise and the sunset.
The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent, and the service at the restaurant was splendid.

Seriously the best location in Hallstatt. One of our windows faced the lake. The other window faced the famous church. What a view! We can see sunrise and market crowd and ferry traffic below us everyday. We can walk to any location conveniently because we are right in the center of town. The room is spacious and quiet. The bed was soft and comfortable. They provided L’Occitane products which were amazing. Quality tea bags with loose tea leaves. Breakfast was quality. Oh we even tried out the sauna which was private and cool! Friendly staff. All in all the best hotel for our honeymoon!
