Hotel am Sachsengang

I have stayed at this hotel five times, but after this last three-day stay, I can say with certainty that I will never return. To be absolutely clear: the young woman who checked me in was extremely kind, professional, and courteous. Unfortunately, her attitude was completely overshadowed by the unacceptable behavior of the older woman working at reception on the morning of December 27. After I properly provided my room number at breakfast so the charge could be posted to my room—a normal and previously accepted practice—this employee chose to publicly confront me, raise her voice, and create a humiliating scene in front of other guests over a simple billing issue. There was no attempt at discretion, no professionalism, and no basic respect. Instead of quietly checking the system or handling the matter privately, she acted in an aggressive, accusatory, and hostile manner. This was not a misunderstanding—it was gross incompetence combined with an unacceptable attitude. Publicly embarrassing a guest over a breakfast charge is beyond unprofessional and reflects extremely poor management, lack of staff training, and a complete disregard for customer dignity. This behavior is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one that expects repeat guests. Because of this experience, I strongly discourage anyone from staying here. If management tolerates this type of conduct, guests should expect the same disrespect.

Clean rooms

Very good

Clean basic rooms no elevator and a full tub you have to step in so might not be a good choice for people with limited mobility. Need your own transportation to stay at hotel and enjoy area.

Hotel is 1hr drive to airport. I liked the historic Austrian Inn look, rooms were big and clean some features are dated but that is expected at this price point, is in a quiet location.

A budget hotel, half an hour's drive from the centre of Vienna, seemed to be mostly occupied by seasonal workers when I stayed there.

This is a basic hotel with very basic facilities. Bed ok, shower, ok. that's all you get. TV only in German. No water in the rooms, No coffee Tea etc. Tourist hotel so when the coach's are visiting, be aware get to breakfast very early or there will be nothing or little to eat.

Very basic hotel, a lot of coach parties when I stayed so loads of kids running up and down the corridors at 12:30 pm so not the quietist of hotels. No restaurant on site but a great Greek next door.

Not a good management and lack of facilities hotel. No air conditioner, fridge , microwave. Exhaust fan in bathroom is not function, bathtub glass partitions is totally wrong designed , shower water is easy splashing to the floor creating unsafe conditions m.

The hotel is 19km from the airport and not well connected by public transport. You need your own car to access it. It is about 1 hr from city center and 2 hours from airport. However, the rooms are very big and cosy. The surrounding is deserted at night. I did not try the swimming pool or breakfast.

I had to change room for different one reason mold on the wall end smell.

The hotel has a great location in quiet surroundings .It is within easy driving distance to central Vienna .The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff was helpful.

Just outside the city limits. You are only a few short minutes drive to rural Austria. Easy check-in and parking.

Pænt hotel med dejligt værelse. Morgenmaden var ok, men lidt op og ned og uden særlige elementer som pandekager, vafler el. Frisk frugt. Nogen dage var mere skrabet end andre. Ingen restaurant på stedet og baren kunne kun servere en type øl. Den var så til gengæld billig. Der manglede lys på værelset og det hjalp ikke at det der skulle være bag tv’et ikke virkede. Men alt i alt et godt sted
