This is a very nice boutique hotel, run by a couple. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is just absolutely perfect on a cobblestone street with restaurants and shopping around. Public transportation is also very inconvenient. What a great boutique hotel run by some very friendly people.

This is in a great hotel in a great location, more historic than a modern tower hotel. The welcome was excellent as were all interactions with the team.
We had a superior double room, great size and luxurious bathroom.
Get a Salzburg card (24/48/72hr versions available for free travel and access to sights) and get outside to see as much as you can - a beautiful city and surroundings. Travel in Salzburg province is free when a room is booked so if travelling there by train/bus ask for the mobility card in advance to give you free travel to the hotel.

This is the 12th hotel we have stayed in during our alpine tour. It is our least favourite. While perfectly situated within walking distance of everything we hoped to see, the hotel itself was a big disappointment. Our room had cracked walls and needed to be painted. The radiator, located beside the bathroom sink was full of dust and cobwebs. The reception is only open until 3pm. We were given a sheet with information about the hotel. It included advice on giving high ratings in our review and tipping. In poor taste I thought. The convenience of its location was the only thing we appreciated.

If you value your sleep don’t get a “city view “ room

This is a great location if you want to check out the old part of town. Most of the things I wanted to see or do were within walking distance. The staff was excellent, and the breakfast was pretty good too.

We came in early, were able to check in early. We absolutely loved our room overlooking the street, listening to the church bell/violinist play on the street or just random chatter from walking pedestrians. Loved the 24/7 coffee machine and sweet little treat left beside it. 20 mins walk from main train station but is conveniently located for other tourist attractions, would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful stay, easy check in, the room was HUGE, a soaking tub, friendly staff, a great breakfast and the perfect location. The staff was even able to help when our luggage broke and we needed to find new ones. Plus normally getting rid of a large broken piece is difficult but they assisted with this as well. Always a smile in the morning for breakfast as they made sure we knew what was on offer, and the courtyard was the perfect place to relax. We really could not have asked for a better stay

This is a very convenient, clean and practical boutique hotel experience. If you want to feel like Mozart did during his time this is an experiential retreat. It is walkable and close to all quintessential tour opportunities. It is clean, quaint and a step way back in time. So be ready for village noise from the alley, church bells every 15 minutes, easy access to pubs, 24/7 coffee, no A/C, a teeny tiny elevator, a room above a bar, and a Euro shower set up. We loved our experience at this boutique hotel but do not come with a mind expecting all of the same conveniences of a Hilton or Marriot ;)
