KH Apartments

The property is not at the location listed on Expedia and we had to contact the property through the cleaning staff to find the correct address which took about an hour. The actual hotel itself is nice, but the process to get there was not great. If the address is corrected on the site or if the address is clearly provided in the check-in instructions, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great apartment in really central area

KH Apartments was excellent, from the booking to leaving, everything was superb. The apartments are an excellent location, you can walk to everywhere within central Vienna from here. They were very clean and comfortable and had everything you needed.

This place looked literally nothing like the pictures on Expedia. It was tiny, the furniture was really old and the couch countertops, etc were old. It was decently convenient, but my room at least was not at all what we were seeing online.

The property itself was pretty nice albeit very warm and we could not figure out how to cool the apartment down (more below). I would note that the bedroom door is fully glass and the bathroom door partially transparent glass so privacy may be an issue. Useful to have a separate loo from the bathroom thought. We used some of the services in the apartment such as the fridge, iron and dishes which were all pretty standard. One frustration in the bedroom is that the mirror and socket are too far away from each other to comfortably dry your hair and whilst there was a dressing table with chair, it had no mirror available. the check in process was the only real issue I had - we had email instructions to call when half an hour away which I did and had to leave an answer machine message - the lady called back shortly afterwards but as we were on a train by that point it was hard to hear. We had to press a buzzer on the door of the building and were simply handed a set of keys - there was no real welcome and the apartment wasn't actually ready at that point as it was still being cleaned. Not a major issue but we had already advised our time of arrival. There was nothing (that we could find) in the apartment that provided any information about the contents such as instruction manuals, heating/cooling, emergency contacts or even information about the city beyond one tourist map. I realise it is self catering but it did feel a bit too impersonal for me.

Great location - walking distance to all sights and near public transport. Staff emailed me before check in with arrival details.

It has restaurants and landmarks close by. A little further from Interstadt but not too far

The apartment was not in the location advertised. However, the apartment was convenient for public transport and for the city centre. The apartment was clean, spacious and reasonably well equipped. The main problem is the lack of service. There is no front desk and they did not respond to emails. We were lucky that the cleaning staff arrived while we were waiting at the wrong place. One of them drove us to where the apartment was. Then we found that the internet was not working. We asked the woman who gave us the key, but she doesn’t work for the company, she just deals with the key. She was very kind and called someone who told her someone would come the next day. No one did. I emailed the office but did not receive a reply. Two days later my wife called the office and was told someone would get back to her. No one did. As a result, we had no internet for the entire stay (6 nights). Although the apartment was fine, due to the lack of service I cannot recommend Kimi apartment.

Excellent hotel, super clean, stylish and best location possible. The response from the hotel was a little slow though.

Excellent location. Everything is walkable from the apartment. Lovely small studio flat perfect for 2. It says a full kitchen but only 2 hob rings. No microwave or toaster or oven. So snacks were a bit limited. Nice clean shower room. Very easy to call for keys on arrival.

Check-in was a breeze! (< 3 minutes and we were on our way up to the apartment). The apartment itself was quite spacious - especially compared to a typical European hotel room. Well furnished for the most part. Couch could have been a bit softer but overall has everything you need. We expected a hair dryer and when wasn't found a quick text resulted in one showing up later that day so crisis averted! I did have some cleanliness concerns as after walking around the apartment for a few minutes the bottoms of my feet were black with dirt, and the oven still had melted cheese or something hanging from the rack and affixed to the bottom. The freezer also appeared to be broken without notice of such. Water pressure was excellent, shower functional and a nice deep tub. I would definitely stay here again if the few minor complaints were addressed. This was far and away more comfortable than a hotel would have been and at less than the typical price for one. Within 5 minute walk of Karlsplatz metro stop, numerous restaurants and a grocery store.

Great location and the flat is good for a couple. Not big but enough for a couple of days. Very clean but no service and no housekeeping during our stay. We stay for 4 days and nobody came to clean the flat. Overall is a good place to stay. Very quiet and the location is excellent.

Let me first start by saying the apartment itself was in good condition and comfortable but that is where the positivity ends. Upon arrival, I was simply handed a key by a stranger with no further instructions. There is no check-in desk. Not a big deal...until you have questions. I also was surprised as this is apparently a group of apartments owned by an individual in different locations. My apartment was 1.1 miles from where the location was listed on Hotels.com. This was a problem due to my being their for work and I chose this hotel specifically for location. No AC. Common in Europe but an unlisted find. There was an issue with the wifi during my stay which I messaged and informed Kimi Apartments about. Even though the message said it was "Read" and timestamped, there was never a response. Somehow the wifi was fixed upon my return to the apartment so I don't know if they came inside or not without me being there and without telling me. Then it gets worse. I messaged Kimi Apartments regarding how the check out process worked since I had a physical key and no one to leave it with. They never responded and there was no record of reading the message. Then the next morning, when I was supposed to check out, I messaged again, still no response. Called Hotels.com once, messaged with Hotels.com for over 30 minutes and Kimi Apartments would not answer for them either. Needless to say I missed a non-refundable train ticket due to their lack of service. I will never stay here again.

The Apartment was in a great location, 5 minute walk from the Vienna Opera House. Directly behind Karlskirche. Two nice rooms, with a small kitchenette were handy with a couple of small kids. Beds were comfortable. Kimi Apartments were very accommodating in letting us check in directly after an overnight flight, even though it was a few hours before the normal scheduled check in time. Recently modernised apartment in lovely old building close to Rathaus. Nice fittings, good quality. Tiny kitchenette but with all the essentials. Close to trams and underground system. Good, cheap restaurant on ground floor of same building.

Unusually big modern apartment; and clean. Excellent, central location within walking distance of everything. Main problem are the windows which are not sound proof, despite the apartment being located next to two major multi-lane streets. Impossible to sleep after 6.00 am due to the excessive car noise.
