Hotel Melba

Convenient free parking. Breakfast was delicious and included. Rooms were clean & newly updated and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional-sharing tidbits about town’s history and great places to visit. Great stay. Will definitely stay here again!!

Great location, right next door to the 101st Airborne museum, and short drive to the remaining museums. Plenty of free parking around.

When we arrived at 2pm there was an horrible drilling noise on one of the higher floors of the reception. We asked why it was so loud on a Saturday. Answer : This would last a least 3 more hours. Then the lady told us check in was only open as from 3pm. She still hadnot asked for our name. We told her and also that we had booked a junior suite… Then only she looked in her pc and confirmed that our room was ready. We told her that we were shocked by her very impolite and non welcoming attitude. My husband was truly unhappy and said we cancelled our stay. Then she said we had to pay her 25€ for her lost commission! We paid it and went!

Nice hotel with very friendly staff.

Room was clean, quiet and the hotel centrally located. Staff was very helpful. The Mexican restaurant had an enchilada verde that was fantastic. I would recommend it to friends.

The staff was amazing and the hotel itself was beautiful! Would definitely stay there again!

Great location in Bastogne, easy to walk to shopping and drive to many WWII attractions.

Best hotel in town. Excellent breakfast

The hotel was ok, we booked a junior suite which was a large room with king size bed and a sofa, the table was scuffed and marked and the towels were really thin! Breakfast was ok, the cutlery had food on some of them, like it had just come out of the dishwasher without checking it. it just lacked that bit of extra attention.

Restaurants, shops nearby all walkable. Restaurant in the facility.

Excellent hotel second time this year. Visiting Bastogne. Will definitely be using again when in the area. Food was good to.

We booked a family room (2 adults and 2 teens) which turned out to be on the top floor (heated all day by the sun) and super hot (>90 F when we arrived in the early evening). There is no AC, just a small fan and a room cooler that uses water (and ice upon request). The staff were very responsive to our concern about the heat and did their best to cool the room while we went out to dinner. Unfortunately it was still intolerably hot upon our return and they promptly changed us to two separate rooms in a different part of the hotel that seemed to stay a bit cooler than the top floor. Of note, they may be in the process of renovating rooms because one of our rooms was more modern while the other was a bit dated and worn. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The more updated room had a couple minor issues (bathroom door would not latch/shut and the shower head was very awkwardly positioned in a narrow corner of the shower), but overall we enjoyed our stay. The location was nice, being in a quiet spot but just a few minutes walk from the bustling downtown area of Bastogne.

Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Parking was easy either outside the hotel on street (which is very quiet) or behind hotel in its own car park. Breakfast was ok - nothing special but fine for a couple of days. All the staff were really great. Helpfuland pleasant at all times.

It’s a nice hotel. Rooms are clean, tv channel’s plentiful, the price is high for what you get. That said the breakfast is amazing and the hospitality of the staff, Adrian in particular was super kind and helpful.
