Park Hotel Airport

This little out-of-the-way hotel is great for travellers in-transit to the Charleroi airport. Choose this hotel instead of a corporate-owned chain - it is family owned and I felt treated like family. Whatever you need, they assist you with it personally. I had a nice large glass of wine to unwind before bed, a fresh croissant in the morning, and an on-demand ride to the airport. The hospitality was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again (and I travel a lot!).

The hotel is on a very noisy main road and did not feel particularly safe as a single female traveller. The whole room vibrated when every lorry went past. Very tired fixtures & fittings throughout. The lounge/bar/restaurant was not open. The receptionist was asleep on the sofa in the public lounge area when I left in the morning. I hardly slept.

Owner is great and very helpful. Not the nicest area at all but owner drove us to a very nice restaurant close by. Then he drove us to the airport at 4 am without issue. Great location for overnight and early flight.

Good transport from & to airport.

I actually did not end up starting at this property because there was not air conditioning in the room. However, the owner of the hotel was so kind to me. He put all of my luggage in the room, brought me a fan to use and offered to take me to the grocery store. It was his decision to allow me to change to a hotel next door because he wanted to ensure I was very comfortable while I slept. This is not common to have this type of customer service, especially since I ended up not staying. But his kindness and willingness to accommodate me went above and beyond. If I need to come back and the air conditioning is working, I will stay at his hotel for sure.

close to airport good value

As noted by other travelers, the manager/owner and his son make this hotel worth booking. A bit challenging to get to hotel as the bus that passes it does not stop directly in the airport (need to go to main road). We paid $20 for a taxi. And the room had some small things that were not in great condition. However, the room served its purpose which was to easily catch an early morning flight and had reliable internet for a Zoom meeting I had. Also, the room had a tea kettle and coffee/tea packets and the owner gave us bottled water upon arrival and upgraded us to a double bed as I reserved a twin by mistake. For no charge, he also offered us coffee and a croissant before heading the the airport. Finally, his son took as to a nearby restaurant when we said we needed to get dinners and offered to pick us up when we finished although it was under a 10 minute walk because it was freezing temperature. The restaurant (the new vintage) served good food!

This hotel was absolutely perfect for an overnight stay close to the airport. The owner was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome even offering us a lift to the airport at 04:45 which was such a lovely gesture. The rooms are very clean and well furnished with comfy beds also. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to be close to Charleroi airport.

Literally the best service I’ve ever received. The gentleman behind the desk was so nice and ensure we had anything we needed before turning in for the night. We had a very early morning flight and he made sure we were able to get some coffee and a croissant before we left.

Our stay at the park hotel airport in Charleroi airport was excellent and relaxing, the owner and his son couldn't do enough for you and the hotel is an excellent choice to stay,the owner was very accommodating and with the free airport transfer which is only about 5 minutes was just perfect. One of the best I've stayed in and I use hotels alot. 5 out of 5 stars for this hotel,the owner and his son Sammy.will definitely use again next time flying from Charleroi

Arrived after midnite to find out that the hotel was fully-booked. Up stepped the owner of the hotel, who appologized that our room was no longer available and then picked up the phone, got us a more expensive room at another property, paid for it with his credit card, and drove us to the other hotel. In the morning, he sent his son to pick us up and drive us to the rent-a-car facility. That is service and I will reserve the Park Hotel the next time I need to come to the Brussels area.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Overall the hotel has seen better days, its a bit dated with some tear and wear but very clean. The staff was polite and friendly.

Owner of the hotel is very friendly and offered to pick me up at the airport himself, as the shuttle was unavailable. Very pleasant room and a good selection of TV channels. Only stayed briefly, as I had an early flight for which the hotel arranged transport.

Fantastic stay. Oustanding service-personel.

The staff was absolutely lovely and the room was spacious however there is no free airport shuttle and trying to arrange a taxi was a nightmare. It was also freezing in my room. I would not stay here again and I certainly saw some better options nearby that I will be using next time.

Staff were lovely, they even made us some dinner very late at night! I have no hesitation recommending this hotel for those on airport stopover. Great hotel.

I cannot say enough good things about the service my son and I received from this hotel. Our plane landed very late, and I didn't know if I could trust the taxis at the airport. All of the ATMs were broken, so I couldn't get any Euro and the taxis didn't take credit cards. I called the hotel, and the manager not only called me a cab but paid for it and allowed me to reimburse him via credit card. The next morning, he did the same thing and allowed me to buy a few Euros from him without charging me interest. I was traveling alone with my young son, and the manager made what could have been a very bad situation into a great experience. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast looked great, though we didn't have any. If you're looking for great, kind service, stay here.

This is such a brilliant hotel, I only wish I had stayed longer to enjoy all the facilities. In my opinion, it is far superior to the usual airport choices (Travelodge, Premier Inn, Ibis, etc). The room was spacious and the huge bath (deep and wide) was amazing for a much needed soak after a weary day. The owner was so very welcoming that I would gladly stay at here again purely on that alone. I was picked up from the airport at no cost to me (it cost him €2 to pass through the airport just to pick me up) and he arranged a shared taxi for the following morning's very early flight. My stay was restful and stress free. The airport is a 5 minute drive from the hotel and Charleroi itself is a 15 minute drive. Shuttle busses are available from the airport to Charleroi. I wouldn't think twice about recommending this hotel to any travellers wanting a brilliant nearby airport hotel.

Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Günstige Lage für Aktivitäten rund um den Flughafen Charleroi. Allerdings sehr laut an viel befahrener Verbindungsstraße. Sauber, aber Ausstattung sehr einfach und insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen.
