Pipa Lagoa Hotel

It was nice

I went to this hotel because the website said they had spa and sauna. And I paid the price for these services. What a surprise when I got there, the spa and sauna were under construction but nothing was said on their website. They asked if I wanted to go to another hotel in the middle of a public holiday, of course I could not go to another hotel and had to stay there. They said I was wrong, that their website advised they were under construction. I opened the website in front of them and it did not say anything. They did not apologize. I went to the bedroom and had requested 2 twins beds and it was confirmed by email. When I opened the bedroom door, it had a queen bed. I decided to have lunch while they sorted the room out since the restaurant would be closing in 45 min. Later went to have a shower to relax but it was not working properly. Breakfast is from 7:30am to 10 am but you have to choose between 3 shifts in order to have your breakfast. If you choose to have your breakfast at 8:30am you cannot go earlier. I went there with the intention of relaxing for a few days and ended up being upset. It was a nightmare. Besides the astronomical prices at the hotel and Pipa. I do not recommend this hotel.

Great view to the lagoon, nice pool and gardens. Is a must to have a car because is 6 km. From pipa beach. Rooms are spacious but additional beds aren't comfortable.

I stayed for 10 days during the world cup. The Hotel is Far, Far away from everything, if you are planning to travel to Brasil and want to stayed in this hotel, I suggest to rent a car otherwise you will be lock in your Hotel or will end up paying high for taxis. Most people that I met was complaining about the distance with Natal, the roads are narrow, and lots of bumps, confusing if you do not know the area. The place is nice, people friendly, breakfast lovely, pool wonderful, I do not recommend it for kids, it is more for couples. 15 minutes from Pipa Beach. TERRIBLE TRAFFIC IN NATAL. Remember if you rent a car they are shift cars no automatics. After all the place is nice, can be improved on the services but after all you can't have everything the way you want in another country. JUST ENJOY THE BEAUTY OF TIBAU!

Excellent. Very clean. Beautiful views. Very close to pipa which is a fantastic little town and its beaches.

We loved this resort, visiting the restaurant again and again even after we moved per previous plans to another one nearby. The outdoor restaurant overlooking the sea and the pool made an excellent setting for World Cup viewing in between our live games. Be aware that the road in to this resort is long and slow

I am absolutely impressed by this resort. It's located about an hour away from a big city (Natal) in a beach town. Everyone is so friendly and nice and you can sightsee different beach towns nearby without too many tourists. You're mostly among locals. I fell in love with the area and the hassle free sightseeing I got. The resort itself is stunning beautiful with full amenities. We stayed 3 days in a one bedroom two story apartment that had a huge balcony a sofa bed, kitchenette and two full bathrooms. (Which came in handy since we were traveling with my dad) he pretty much had his own personal space and we had ours. We left for 1 night to go to another city and when we came back (i made two separate reservations for the same price) I was upgraded to a house in the same style located in the back of the resort. It was huge! And super elegant! With 2bedrooms and a huge dining room, living room and kitchen. My dad his own room ;) The resort was well kept and beautiful with lots of vegetation and high walls. I felt very safe. Breakfast was yummy. Bar and pool very fancy. And area for kids to play. Only downfall is wifi is only in common areas.

Was in Brazil for the World cup. Spent 3-days in a Brazilian hospital getting IV's because I was deathly ill. I had to end my trip 10 days early to get back to the states to get medical care. Apparently this was not a good enough excuse. Hotel Girassois Lagoa Resort refused to not charge me for nights I had booked and could not make. Stay far away from this place.

Chegamos ao Pipa Lagoa no dia 22 de dezembro de 2025, às 13h13. O quarto ainda não estava pronto, mas a recepcionista, que não demonstrou muita simpatia, iniciou nosso check-in. Um ponto que me chamou atenção foi a necessidade de assinarmos um termo de responsabilidade para liberar as toalhas da piscina, com a cobrança de R$ 100,00 por unidade em caso de perda. Após resolvermos almoçar para aguardar o quarto, a comida foi servida em 1 hora e 5 minutos. A equipe de garçons demonstrou despreparo e pouca solicitude. Pedimos uma moqueca mista, que estava excelente. Apenas uma observação: o menu infantil veio em quantidade insuficiente. O apartamento foi liberado às 14h45. Era excelente, superlimpo e os enxovais de cama estavam com um aroma muito agradável. A piscina é um dos pontos fortes do hotel, muito boa. No dia 23 de dezembro de 2025, tomamos café da manhã, que estava bastante fraco, com poucas opções. Novamente, a equipe de garçons e os funcionários demonstraram despreparo e pouca solicitude. Fui à recepção perguntar se poderíamos ter um late checkout e a recepcionista informou que a única condição seria almoçarmos no hotel. Caso contrário, teríamos que sair. Perguntei sobre a disponibilidade de um ponto de recarga para carro elétrico, já que meu veículo é híbrido, e ela informou que não havia, mas que existia uma tomada que poderia ser utilizada, com cobrança por hora. Boa tarde! Infelizmente a estadia foi bem ruim! Tomei um abuso enorme pelo hotel! Já havíamos ficado no hotel por 2 outras oportunidades e dessa vez a experiência foi ruim! Bem ruim. Primeiro, era uma confraternização e o hotel implicou com tudo! Estávamos na beira da piscina na sexta à noite, sem excessos, sem gritaria, mas apenas conversando, com o som de uma pequena caixa de som baixa, e simplesmente nos mandaram dormir! Inclusive um senhor, que não sei quem é, mas parecia ser gerente, foi muito grosseiro e mal educado. Horrível! Já chegou dizendo q não aceitavam confraternizações 😱! Ficamos pensando: como assim? Um hotel de praia, que avisamos que faríamos nossa confraternização. Péssimo Outra situação… as crianças estavam brincando e correndo! Mandaram que elas não corressem!!! Como assim!?!?! Num hotel que tem estrutura e aceita crianças??? Terceira coisa: toalhas de piscina!!! Não trocam as toalhas molhadas?!?! Inacreditável!!! Quarta coisa: café da manhã com hora agendada e cordinha fechada?!! Sinceramente!!! Parecia um quartel! Um retiro! Péssimo, péssimo péssimo! Não volto mais Sim… os funcionários do hotel pareciam fiscais! A impressão que deu era q estávamos fazendo tudo fora das regras e tínhamos que ser controlados. Jamais, em toda minha vida, passei por algo assim. Fica o registro.
