This is our second stay here and we recommend it to anyone who is coming to Siem Reap. The staff is wonderful; so helpful with anything you need. They're happy to help with transportation, tour suggestions, & entertainment suggestions. The breakfast is extensive. We didn't use the spa, but I know someone who has and they enjoyed it a lot and the price is very reasonable.

Money stolen from room, please avoid this hotel. We stayed at the Apsara Residence Hotel in Siem Reap for 5 nights in February 2025 and were extremely disappointed both to have money stolen from the safe in our room and also with the poor response we received from Hotel Management when we reported this loss. We reported the $100 dollar theft to the Hotel Management and were brushed off with a very inadequate response despite several attempts to pursue this matter. Management simply refused to acknowledge the money could have been taken and did not seem to properly investigate what had happened. Our remaining days at the Hotel were spoiled by this invasion of our privacy and our consequent lack of confidence in the security of our possessions. I have no doubt the management will reply to this review stating the theft being impossible, but nevertheless we wish to alert future guests to the need to be very wary of this venue so they can avoid the treatment we were unfortunate to have experienced. Hotel management promised to follow up this matter after we left but, unsurprisingly, we have heard nothing from them. The only matter that bothered the manager we spoke to was the prospect of a negative review. We strongly suggest people look elsewhere for accommodation.

Lovely hotel, very well located. The staff could not possibly have been kinder or more attentive. There was some noise from the bar nearby, but it didn't bother us too much. Would certainly stay again.

Apsara Residence Hotel is very well located, just a short walk to main city attractions, including the Pub Street.
The hotel is great, has a swimming pool and restaurant on site and the room we stayed at was very spacious with a bath tube and shower separately.

The staff are great and very obliging. The building is a little old but everything worked - our refrigerator had to be replaced but that was done quickly. The noise from the cafe next door was a problem for my wife but I didn’t hear it. So close to the river and stuff in the near area.

This is a stunning hotel. Staff were wonderful and the rooms just gorgeous. Comfortable. Beautiful oasis of a pool. My only one concern was hearing the music from the bar next door but I am sensitive to that. Everything else about this hotel is perfect.

As a person who worked in tourism all around the world for years, I have never seen such a bad service in my life. The following were among many problems:
- The hotel provides no information about the payment details. They list themselves on this platform but do not accept the payments methods accepted by the platform itself
- They can solve this issue by directly taking payment from the portal (i have seen other hotels do it seamlessly and I have done it in the booking department i worked)
- on top of all, I was subject to disrespect with the following exact quote “it is your responsibility to know all this as you chose pay at the property. I am not liable for providing you which payment method i accept”
- The claim is not only factually incorrect but also shows staff disrespect, unwillingness and incompetence because i managed to directly charge on platform in my hotel when people had similar issues (even if we clearly listed payment methods unlike the staff in this hotel)
- Things go even further when they do not accept the cash I withdrew with the intention of letting this inconvenience go by saying “this money cannot be accepted as it was folded - go withdraw other one”, not even saying “please” or “if you do not mind”. This is something I have never seen in my life
- In the meanwhile, my room had mosquitos and crickets all the time
- the hotel never shuts down air conditioners. They are at full speed all they long, causing huge energy loss

This hotel was fantastic! We actually spent more nights here then planned! Spent a full week at this hotel. The service was outstanding and the rooms were beautiful and very very clean. We enjoyed the pool as well as the restaurant at the hotel. Food and all the drinks we had were great! The staff was very friendly and greeted us each time we walked into the hotel with a cold cloth! If we ever return to Cambodia we will definitely stay here again. It is also in an excellent location with lots of restaurants and shops in an easy walking distance.

The Apsara was a brilliant place to stay during our trip to Siem Reap, and we are glad to have found and booked it.
The hotel is well situated by the centre of the city but still sits a couple of minutes away from some of the hotspots. This gave us the excuse to walk along the river and take photos from the beautiful bridges. While the hotel is away from Pub Street, there is a nearby bar that can be loud in the evenings. Earplugs are recommended! For those visiting the Angkor area, tuk tuks and Grab vehicles are easy to find or ask the hotel team to book for you.
The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there was a sofa in the room too. The balcony only had one chair, which was a bit of a shame, but we managed to get a second one from reception.
The staff at the Apsara are a real credit to the place. They were friendly, helpful and focused on providing the best service. They always had a smile on their face and it was a pleasure to have them around the place. Being met with a smile every time we came back in was a real treat.
Overall, a perfectly placed hotel which was the best base for a week in this hidden gem.

I highly recommend Apsara hotel. It’s clean, with all amenities and perks. The stuff is very polite and available whenever you might need them. Even if you check out and your flight is late at night you can still use hotel amenities which is great!
