Best Western Plus Bathurst Hotel & Suites

Horrible! The room had a dingy musty smell that is overpowering enough to make my eyes water. Neither the tub nor sink drained. Loud HVAC enough that the adjoining room’s will keep you awake. Laminate floors….gross!

Front desk refused to help with excessive noise. We stay in hotels twice a month for sports so we know to expect the sound of kids running and playing. But this was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Five trips to the front desk over two hours and no help. Was told maybe they were a little “heavy footed”. Young man by the name of Jeremy is working in the wrong industry. Should not be helping people, needs some manners.

Stayed one night during a getaway in Gaspé. We were very impressed with this place. Amazing view, fantastic, friendly staff. Very very good value overall. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to the opportunity to stay there again.

The stay itself was great. Staff was great. Very clean. Breakfast could uae better fruit options.

Vending machines oudated and not working. Horrible service front desk will not go into details. Sofa in room a king suite was fake leather and major cracks and peeling seen better in a low buget Horror movie. Fake leather sticking to our clothes. Room was clean and bathroom was very nice bed was very comfortable. Parking had dead pigeon walking in to entrance still there next day.

Absolutely wonderful room and stay

Great property--well maintained and managed. Room was spacious & comfy. Bed, shower, staff, included breakfast all top notch. We'll stay there again on our return trip.

Great location, excellent service , excellent breakfast and restaurant

The hotel is ideally located, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. There is a small buffet breakfast also available.

Stayed there for one night and everything was perfect

Close to bars and pubs with a great coffee house (Kaffein) across the street.

Customer service was poor, we were not told where anything was, what time breakfast was in the morning etc , check in was NOT as expected when booked from photos , dining options were not listed anywhere in the room ,considering there’s a restaurant attached to the hotel. Pool was way smaller than expected compared to photos & no hot tub and anyone not swimming , good luck in there because it is HOT . The bathtub was moldy , the couch was peeling apart , there was no spare bedding/blankets for the sofabed . The room was way smaller than expected for a SUITE that sleeps “5” with “extra room” was not separated at all . When asked at front desk to change to a different option /maybe two conjoining rooms ? (I’d be happy to pay! ) they said no . The tvs were not updated, so no Netflix option . The noise above us was stomping all night , you could hear them yelling in the bathroom clear as day. Breakfast, was disgusting . We are opting to go elsewhere . Dirty. The plates , in the “clean” pile , were still dirty, the floors had food all over them, the cup for waffles looked like it was hours old and had caked on batter that everyone’s hands would have been on . It was disgusting .
