Best Western Plus Fergus Hotel

The front desk staff is nice and accommodating. The beds comfy.

When we first checked in, we were given a room on the first floor. It was dark, dingy and smelled like stale smoke from the 80s. When I asked to switch rooms I was told there were no other rooms available and was offered air freshner. When I tried to cancel, they offered me a "suite" which was just a basic room. Unless you're looking for very cheap basic accomodation, I would not stay here.

The complimentary breakfast was great and the rooms were very clean!

Washroom is clean and nice. Carpets needs renovation. Gives old almost motel vibes.

This hotel is near shopping and restaurants, that's about it as far as highlights. The property is an older hotel that could benefit from a renovation. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The room was dated, the carpets were worn and slightly stained. The room was fairly clean. I usually wipe down rooms when I arrive. The toilet seat was clean as well as the outside of the bowl. While wiping the outside of the bowl I noted under the room of the bowl was very dirty and mildewed. I also noted a few hairs in the shower. The worst part of the hotel was the shower. The water pressure is non existent. I had to take a shower 3 times longer than I normally take because it took so long to wash the soap from my body. Also the shower was very slippery after it was wet with soap and water. Make sure to use the handle bar on the shower otherwise you may slip and fall. This hotel would be just ok if it were not so expensive. For the price I paid (well over $350), I w expected a much better room. I didn't eat the free breakfast, but my wife and daughter said it was very good. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries, pancakes and assorted breads and pastries. I will not say here again, not worth the price.

Everything Perfect although the beds aren’t comfortable !

Elevator was broken. Room was dated. Bed uncomfortable. Breakfast awful - premade and reheated food. Very expensive for what we got. Will never return. I’m not a princess but for +$300 a night I would expect a 5* place - in Fergus of all places. Way too expensive.

The room was clean but very gloomy and the TV got very few stations, very frustrating to navigate. The breakfast was good.

It was all very welcoming

This is the 1st hotel that I have stayed in where you have to pay for a crib. We don’t pay for our beds, why do we have to pay for a bed for a baby? The shower does not have much water pressure.

Parking lot around hotel was pretty beat up, rooms smell a bit musty. Staff were very friendly and complimentary breakfast was good

It was fine, over 200 a night for a very old room, dirty carpets, tiny bathroom, curtains that don't fit or cover windows, i stay there because there's no alternative for the area i want to be in .

The building is getting older and not the greatest upkeep. Surrounding the hotel is fast food and an unkept parking lot
