Very impressed with check-in, underground parking, river-view room on 17th floor. Will certainly recommend staying at Chateau Lacombe

I've stayed here a few times and I really enjoy the location for ease of access to many great spots in Edmonton. I also appreciate the parking is usually ample and self serve. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. The parkade is a bit run down but overall great stay for the price!

The location was excellent and the staff really go the extra mile. Plus as a lesbian couple no one batted an eye at us, which is always a relief. The room was very clean, but had not been renovated in my lifetime (i’m in my 30s). The gym, which I care a lot about, was small but better equipped than the last couple holiday inns I stayed in. Overall it was a great budget hotel that understands hospitality

The staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly. They welcomed us with warm smiles and made sure we had everything we needed to check in, park, check out and even took the time to wish us safe travels when we were walking out of the lobby. Incredible customer service. The hotel room itself is very dated, with older, worn furniture... but the room was clean, the beds were very firm (but it wasn't uncomfortable), and the café breakfast buffet was average. Really, the location is fantastic for concerts at Rogers Place, but it was the people that work at the hotel that made our stay a positive experience. If you don't mind dated rooms - this is a great place to stay.

Like something out of the 1960s. Front desk staff very slow. Longest checkin I have ever experienced. No help at all getting a reservation for the restaurant - had to call myself. The property is very tired and needs a major renovation. Beds are too hard and linens threadbare. no usb ports in rooms and very hard to find a plug to use a laptop. No desk chair which should be universal these days. At least the air system was quiet.

We chose this hotel as it is very close to the Starlite Room. Friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable though the bed was very firm. I also found the towels were very rough which I mentioned to the front desk.

The staff were great, answered all of our questions. The room was a little dusty. The beds were okay, not super comfortable. The coffee pot had water left in it from a previous guest and didn’t look that clean. The front desk fixed us up with coffee which was great. The parade was handy, there were a few trucks parked in it which made it tight to manoeuvre through the levels. We a light snack as we didn’t have time for dinner. The food was okay and the drinks were great. Overall it was a good stay and would stay again.
