Chair in the room was made of cloth material and had lots of stains on it. The mattress needs to be replaced, the stings are gone on one side

Free parking is all I can say that was good! Dining room wasn’t available on Saturday because of a private event which I wasn’t told at check in. No restaurants near by. Drive to the pier or take bus.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. But, facilities are very dated and in disrepair.

The room was small and cramped. It was okay for a one night stay but felt it was overpriced for the the level of comfort and quality.

Good location. Not in great condition. Stains on the bed cover. Tub was in ruff shape.

The guy who checked me in was unfriendly and made me feel like I shouldn’t have brought pets even though they’re “pet friendly” and I already had messaged them, and received a response that my 2 dogs and cat were very welcome. Small pet fee, no problem at all. I stayed 2 nights and they held a $300 damage deposit on top of my $400+ stay. It was returned to me but I think they should warn people up front. Also the description says all rooms have AC, definitely not true. No AC in 22, and you’re right at the entrance so opening the window is not ideal, very busy. Floors were pretty dirty. No microwave. Bathroom could really use some basic updates, the tub looks filthy because it’s so worn through. Caulking needs replaced badly too and the shower head needs CLR. Breakfast was very tasty, and the gal working at the restaurant was fantastic, I really liked her! And my checkout experience was great too, lovely lady helped me out and was super friendly even though she was really busy at the moment! Overall it was a fine landing place for me and my pets, who just drove across the country from Alberta. And there’s a park that’s dog friendly (leash required) only a few minutes away.

Staff are very nice. Very short of plug ins to charge devices. Had to move furniture around to get at the limited plug ins. The furniture very old, and looked like something out of an estate sale. Bed was comfortable.Fan in bathroom very dirty. Parking fine. It’s a bit of a drive to downtown. You get what you pay for.

Very good. Clean room, friendly service in restaurant, convenient location (within walking distance of historic cemetery with Titanic victims.

It’s an older hotel/motel (keys, not keycards) but they had the most comfortable bed of the entire trip. Slept so well. The attached diner has a passable breakfast and the room is tired, but clean and orderly. Granted, you’re in Halifax, your hotel room shouldn’t be the view you’re looking for!

The property is dated but it is being kept immaculate. There is a restaurant on site which is very good for breakfast. The bus stops across the street and is a direct route to the harbour front.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

Checking in was both smooth & painless. Room was clean & comfortable. Room and washroom amenities were adequate. Good for a one night stay or passing through. The restaurant/pub serves pretty good food.

Decent place, tight little car park but room's were clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and friendly staff, just a bit noisy being near some major roads. Would stay again though

AC was very noisy, and so turned off at night. No elevator to second floor. We were thus given the last first floor room (appreciated), and forewarned it smelled of cigarette smoke. Sink is outside of outside of bathroom, but both are controlled by one light switch - not ideal if one wants bathroom light on at night.

It was a good property but could use some maintainance. Hooks for towels near the sink and the bathtub would be great as there was no place to hang wet towels. The lights over the beds loosely attatched to the wall. That said, I would prolly stay there again in the future.

An older building that is dated. Needs an updated look and refreshing.

Pleasantly surprised by the condition of the place.

Very clean, Beds and pillows comfortable, friendly staff. Air conditionning would benefit from a major overhaul , our unit was excessively noisy. Good thing we brought earplugs :)
