The stay was excellent and the room, staff were also good.The major problem we had was a confusion in getting transportation from the airport. Because you have a doubletree at Dixon rd and Dixie Rd there is a problem finding the right phone number for the specific hotel and the right vehicle transporting you to the airport.

The young lady who checked us in was extremely pleasant and helpful in finding a great room and allowing an earlier than normal check-in. I've stayed here many times and will continue to when traveling out of Pearson.

Unfortunately my check in process was so terrible I doubt I’ll ever stay at a Hilton hotel again. The lack of empathy and kindness from the front desk agent was appalling. Thankfully another staff finally intervened and helped me. I understand there are policies in place, but I also understand customer service and basic human kindness. I had prepaid for a room for me and my 9 year old for a 12 hour layover. Due to some issues travelling my credit card wouldn’t work for the $150 security deposit I was unaware I’d have to pay. I did offer a cash deposit or my husband could provide his credit card information over the phone. It was 9pm, I had a child with me that hadn’t eaten due to travelling all day, with no jackets as we were on a layover from Mexico. She refused to help me in anyway, and did not give the manager the full story (that I had a child with me). Keep in mind the room was paid for. She told me and my child we would have to leave. Thankfully a manager (I’m assuming) came out and saw the situation and decided against throwing us out in the cold. I appreciate the assistance, however I don’t feel it should have gotten to the point it did. I had alternate ways to pay the deposit. Thankfully if the manager hadn’t stepped in, I had spoken with the Westin across the street and they were more than willing to help me in my situation rather than leave a child in the cold overnight, Once again thank you to the staff at Doubletree that did help me.

Room was good

The room was great. Nice layout, quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Room was clean. Bed was cozy. But i asked for a quiet room and she put me across from elevator! Geez.

Checkin was great, got to my room, flushed the toilet and it wouldn’t stop running. maintenance had it fixed in 15 minutes. I had a nice dinner at Turtle Jack’s on-site restaurant and took a glass of wine up to my room. The bed was comfy but heavy duvet was too warm and the heating/AC unit was slow to cool the room. It never shut off all night, aren’t they supposed to shut off when the room is at temp? Luckily I travel with earplugs to cancel the noise.
