My stay at Hôtel Bonne Entente was a mixed bag, with notable highs and lows, particularly at the restaurant. The room was spotless, cozy, and inviting, providing a comfortable retreat. However, the VIP lounge experience was marred by a malfunctioning coffee machine in the morning, which is disappointing for a supposedly exclusive service.
The restaurant was a major letdown. For a simple order—an appetizer of calamari and two beef tartares—the wait exceeded two hours, which is unacceptable. Cocktails and wine glasses took an eternity to arrive, and the bill was delivered to the wrong table, further prolonging the ordeal. Despite these issues, the staff remained courteous and professional, doing their best to make up for the shortcomings with a warm attitude.
Overall, while the hotel boasts an elegant setting and comfortable rooms, the restaurant service and minor hiccups like the coffee machine in the VIP lounge detract from the experience. Improvements are needed to bring the establishment up to its expected standard.

I really like this hotel overall-the common areas are comfortable, clean, rooms are quiet, but since my last stay there are signs of neglect.
The value of the “Resort fee” is not there at all.
The kids club room was not well stocked, the coloring books and art supplies were old and not appealing for the kids. There was a gaming system but no games.
The hot tub had scum lines on the tiles and a lot of debris on the bottom.
The hotel is beautiful but rooms are dated and show signs of age.
The room’s carpet was stained and tiles in the shower were cracked.
Overall the property is beautiful, and past stays were great, I just wish the maintenance and amenities were maintained.

Special mention to Éloise at the front desk who was pleasant and helpful at check-in.
We didn't bother with a late checkout when we were told by another employee the next day that we would have to request it early the next morning as we were hoping to sleep in, and that employee was not even answering the phone.

The gymnasium could use an update on its cardio equipment. Elliptical trainers would be welcome as many of us in middle age have to reduce impact generating physical activity.

The food in the restaurant is top notch. Definitely eat there if staying at the hotel.
Bed and linens were very nice. I was in a renovated room. You had to climb into a very large stand alone tub to take a shower, which was odd. For an average height male, your head would hit the rain shower head. Otherwise, accommodation was excellent.

Cela faisait plusieurs années que je n'étais pas revenu, au Château Bonne Entente et j’espérais retrouver l’atmosphère que j’avais apprécié.
Malheureusement, l’établissement n’a pas vraiment évolué. Pas de connexion Internet dans la chambre malgré trois demandes.
Le restaurant propose un menu assez basic, et le service a pris 1h40 au souper.
J’aimerais vraiment que cet endroit retrouve son niveau d’excellence, mais pour l’instant, c’est une grande déception.

Had to change room. The heating machine was making noise. The other room the shower was malfunctioning, no pressure half of the water was going to the bath instead of the showerheads. A plumber needs to check it!
They also charge you 20$ for outside parking.
