Such a pleasant change from motels. Old style but renvated with all modern features you need. Our room was huge with classic wood panel and a cozy but comfortable bathroom. Both fridge and microwave plus coffee maker. Friendly and helpful and fully bilingual front desk staff. Quick checkin and out. Great restaurant on site. I would not consider any other place to stay in Baie Comeau, and all at a very reasonable price.

I liked the old style of the building. Though our room was in a renovated wing with new laminate flooring and bright white paint which felt at odds with the style of the original hotel. It was clean , staff were friendly, and beds comfortable.

The rooms was quite spacious, having two separate rooms for the two beds was kinda fun! Although having the bathroom being only near one bed is a bit annoying for the other people we were with, but other than that the beds were very comfortable, the comforter was actually fluffy, and not just a sheet of paper, and the pillows were soft and cozy. The ambiance was so nice, and I loved the bricks in the rooms, such a different and cozy vibes. I don't go in that area often, but now I want to just so I can go to this hotel again. The price was extremely reasonable for what you get. I definitely recommend this place for a nice quick stay or a longer one!

No elevator, restaurant was closed for the first half of my visit, and we lost power from 8:30pm to 5:30am my second night there. No emergency lighting in rooms or corridors. That being said, room was big, cozy, well stocked. Bed was comfortable.

La chambre est un peu sombre et on entend beaucoup les bruits extérieurs, mais sachez que c'est un vieux bâtiment, donc l'insonorisation fait un peu défaut. Propreté de la chambre impeccable. Pour un court séjour, ça convient très bien.

Our second visit to the Grand, the place is ok a little old and the bathrooms are very small but the bar and restaurant are very convenient which is more our priority. Comfortable beds, clean rooms.
