We arrived around 4:30 & our rooms were not ready! It took almost 2 hours to get checked in which is totally unacceptable!
It looked like our bed hadn't been changed or at least not made up properly. The sheets were all over to one side and stuffed in under matress in one spot. We made it up ourselves. Didn't expect no elevator.
We managed to get into the parking lot which was great.
Le Grande Hotel is a lovely old property. The rooms were spacious & clean. We definitely appreciated the air conditioning on such a hot day. The staff were very friendly & accomodating. The bar & restaurant were very nice, as were the drinks & food. We enjoyed the patio.

We arrived at 5pm with another couple. Our rooms weren't ready till 6:30pm.Front desk fellow very nice and apologized. Check in was 4pm.other couples waiting as well.We went to bar staff was great and hD delicious pizza and wi gs after we checked in. This morning was horrible. We went to restaurant was ignored by staff. 20minute I asked for coffee. We waited 10 more minutes and left for Tim's.

We had to wait to check in past the check in time as they were really busy which was fine. Very friendly about it so we had no issue going for a walk in town and coming back in an hour. The only negative was the restaurant attached to the hotel. Not sure if they are connected but very poor service and long wait. Flagging down the server after an hour past ordering she said the chef was alone and very busy so we had to be patient. She was friendly about it but I had the feeling something was up. It was only a salad and a hamburger and both were terrible when arrived. We paid and left and still tipped but not a great experience for a hotel stay that we were excited for. Loved the area and shops and will defiantly return to Bai Comeau in the future.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour au Grand Hôtel par le fait de sa proximité avec le parc des Pionniers où avait lieu nos spectacles et sa localisation sur une rue charmante avec d’agréables commerces. La chambre était propre et avait toutes les commodités, mais était plutôt petite et assez sombre, ce qui ne semblait pas être le cas de toutes les chambres de l’hôtel. Nous avons été satisfait de l’absence de tapis dans la chambre et de l’insonorisation entre les pièces. Par contre, nous aurions gagné à avoir accès à une climatisation bien moins bruyante dans la chambre et de l’eau plus chaude lors des douches. Nous n’avons pas fréquenté le restaurant de l’hôtel ni son bar. Il est bon de savoir qu’il n’y a pas d’ascenseur.

Tout juste satisfaisant , mais prix bcp trop élevé versus la prestation . Même chose pour le restaurant de déjeuner, une assiette brunch à plus de 21$ mais avec la moitié de ce que l’on reçoit à Québec . Propreté de la chambre discutable , et clim très bruyante. A ce prix là, c’est abusé.
