We were very glad that parking was available at a resonable cost, and our room was adequate. The location is exceptional. We were in room 56. The furniture is quite shabby, and the bedding was mostly polyester blend that feels hot to us and pillows flat...then there's the bathroom. The light over the sink flickered and at times only one of the two bulbs worked. The exhaust fan over the toilet turned on for a few seconds, and turned off, constantly. The door to the shower is meant to be on top of a tub edge, so one must duck to get through. The exhaust fan over the shower is filthy, and looks terrible in comparison to the mostly new fixtures and tile. The towel hook on the wall is almost completely out of the sheetrock, and the caulking behind the sink is in deplorable condition, pulling away and ruffling on the edges; the sink drain was quite slow and meant you couldn't keep the water running for more than a few seconds. The door to the room from the hallway should be replaced with one that closes tightly and not have a poorly painted piece of soundproofing material on top of it...light was visible around the door's edge, which didn't feel secure. We appreciate the challenges of these older properties, but felt the attention to simple details was sorely lacking for a room at this pricepoint.

Everything was nearby. The parking is two blocks away at $25. a night plus a $20. deposit for a key to the gate in a church parking lot. Very old building! Small rooms, only one single on first floor all other rooms are up a tiny winding staircase to 2nd and 3rd floor.

Very near the action but not in the middle of it. Basically quiet at night. Not many services are offered so I would recommend for a short stay. Although you'll find plenty of services at a short walk distance. Food and drink. I don't know if they offer clothes washing though. I only stayed 2 nights.

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Old Quebec. It faces a lovely little park and has a view of the famous Chateau Frontenac. It is quiet, a few blocks away from the busy tourist streets but very close to. the river walk. . And there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The hotel is old and the rooms have character but ours was small with not much room for luggage, toiletries etc. The bathroom was surprisingly modern and nice. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and the hotel’s great location outweighed any inconvenience caused by the age of the building.

It's a good and reasonably priced family run hotel in a GREAT location. Its simple, and our 3rd floor room was spacious with vaulted celings. There are no elevators, no real services other than a Kuerig in the room. It was clean. TV was tiny and the soaking tub was nice. The staff although nice, could learn to smile and say hello though.... It would make the experience so much better.
