Never having been to Quebec City, I think we hit the Jack Pot with Manoir Sur la Cap. Perfectly located in the most picturesque location. The hotel is next to a grassy shaded park with a close view of the river and the Le Château Frontenac. Parking was excellent. (We showed up at the hotel, and they gave us directions for parking in an authorized parking lot two blocks away. We paid $25 a day for parking.)
We felt safe and the staff was very helpful with suggestions for dining. This is an old house with all kinds of charm. No elevator, but was not a big deal for us.
Great place, we will definitely come back! Thank you!

Staff was able to really help us with a room that accommodated the elderly people in our group. We had sent email messages to the establishment prior to our arrival asking for help in this department. The front desk staff was extremely helpful with providing an exact location for our tour pick-up the next morning which allowed us to plan our route for those in our party with limited mobility. The well-appointed rooms were spacious and charming. The location was super close to all of the things we wanted to do in Old Quebec with plenty of activities and cafes and bakeries close by. We walked everywhere.
Notes: The next things in no way are a sign of dissatisfaction but merely to help others understand the layout and how things worked.
Location does not have elevator and the one room on the lowest level still requires three or four steps up to get to it. Plan accordingly. The location is on a hill. Sidewalk is steep.The front desk/office does close in the evening and the ice machine is in the office area. We did not have a car so I can't say how the parking works, but I do know that there was an additional room fee if you needed to park a car. Free or self-serve street parking was very limited.
I totally would stay here again. Loved the whole experience!

Very old building, of course, so noise from upstairs and music festival were common. The ambiance and location are fantastic. There for 3 nights and had to request room to be serviced, which they did. Parking was nearby for $24 per day

Rugs not so clean and smelled badly, no cutlery provided, drapes dirty and hanging off, front door difficult to open and lock, bedsheets were old and yellowing (did not use any of the beds). Had a spa bath tub but no hot water going into bath. This was the only room for my price range and it was not worth the high price. I felt like I was slumming it in a flea bitten motel.

It was a great location and walking distance to everything. Things were a bit dated but it had charm and character. Parking was a bit tight if you have a bigger vehicle but right behind the hotel.

No elevator for luggage . No small safe in rooms . No housekeeping service each day. No secure space to store luggage if you need too prior or checking in and out. Location is very good . Very worn down

Location is perfect. Room was clean. There is no elevator,so keep that in mind. Walls are very thin, it's a very old building, so noises are heard from all over. Over all decent place to stay.
