This hotel was amazing. We stayed for two nights on a roadtrip but would definitely come back and stay here for the duration of the trip. We booked the two bedroom lake front room and it was so lovely. Only negative was how bright the bedroom on the ground floor was in the mornings as there was no real way to shut out the light from the living area coming in. Every member of staff we encountered were so helpful and nice to talk to. Location wise it is out of the way of downtown whistler which was great as it felt so tranquil whilst still having amenities such as shops and restaurants within walking distance and a shuttle was available free of charge to take you to whistler itself. Drinks in the restaurant were nice and we ate breakfast onsite both days as it was so good. Facilities available were great such as the outdoor pool and sauna plus one morning we rented a peddle boat and went around the lake which is included in the cost of your stay

Poor communication about the breakfast credit which meant we ended up paying for extra dishes, which we would not have ordered. Also room wasn't serviced on the first day and we had to request housekeeping on the second hotel. Not up to a one Michelin key standard.

It's a pretty resort but after paying a significant amount to stay per night, additional charges kept adding up. You can't use the other hot tubs unless you pay for the spa. There is no room service. We stay in Whistler all the time and expected a lot more for the price you pay to stay here.

Not ideal if you have a toodler. Theres no way to heat up baby food. The lake is a nice view and good for kayaks but not for littles ones to play. The room is big and the bed is comfy.

Lake view from our room was beautiful, it’s easy to entertain the kids with free bike rental and free kayaking and boating right outside the hotel. They also have a small swimming pool and hot tub but all outdoors, weather was not hot enough for this stay to use the outdoor swimming pool though so we skipped this time. The hotel location is 15 mins drive away from the Whistler village but shuttle service makes it so convenient to get around and the kids loved the big shuttle van, very spacious. All the staffs are very nice and helpful. The only downside about our stay is that both restaurants on site were not good. We have dinner at the lounge and breakfast at the Den but both experience was not good. Food was below average. Menu were simple and food should have been better. Breakfast bacon was so stiff and dry, potatoes were so burnt. Other than that, it’s a great stay. And it’s worth mentioning that the washroom and shower area is so spacious which is a big plus!
