Quality Hotel & Suites

We did not enjoy our stay during this visit. There were children running around the building all evening, knocking on doors past 12am. It was also extremely loud!!! Large parties going happening well after 3am, with people shouting and drinking in the hallways. Doors wide open with loud music. The staff at the hotel need to be regularly patrolling the hotel or higher security to tell all patrons that after 11pm that the noise needs to discontinue.

Staff were great. Check in and out was easy and quick. The room was clean and quiet. The beds were very uncomfortable. They were not bad beds, just really worn so need to be replaced.

Stayed here recently while in town for a family funeral. The room appeared clean at first glance, and the sheets themselves looked fresh. However, the bed had a strong, unmistakable smell of urine that couldn’t be ignored. Unfortunately, it was very late when I went to bed and noticed it. Due to the reason I was staying in Gander, I didn’t have the bandwidth to pack up the full room in the middle of the night to try to get the room switched. I ended up changing out of my pajamas, which now also smelled of urine, and slept on top of the bedclothes. In the morning, I spoke with the front desk to alert them about the situation. They were very polite and understanding, but said there was nothing they could do since the room had been booked through Expedia. Overall, while the staff were kind, the condition of the bed was completely unacceptable. I honestly don’t know how the bed could have been made without noticing! Clean sheets don’t make up for an unclean mattress. Hopefully, management takes this feedback seriously and addresses it for future guests.

Room was a bit dated…. Beds were definitely worn down… no microwave in room… we were thrilled to see a coffee maker, but it turned out not to work. I requested another one… it too, was broken! Staff didn’t ask us whether we got the coffee pot or anything about it. Didn’t even ask how our stay was. We went to go use the pool and it too was closed… maintenance… this was not mentioned on the website, nor at check in… the only saving grace was Wanda in the Alcock and Brown restaurant!! She was amazing and very kind! She made us feel like family and not hotel patrons! This hotel needs some updating… we left disillusioned…

Clean room and friendly staffs

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. Although breakfast came with the room, it was limited in scope. Walkable to downtown.
