We stayed at the Tiki for 4 nights. Overall great experience but it was a bit run down. We loved our room and all the amenities were there in the kitchen and bathroom. We had to ask for more towels, soap and shampoo as they were under staff. The location is great though! Right in front of the beach. In my opinion, we paid a little too much for what we got but it was still worth it.

Paid $650a night for the room. They tried to put lipstick on a pig. Laminate floors but didn’t level the floor. Tiles are breaking and cracking. Blinds 3 inches too short. Dirty and gross. After 1 night I went on the website and realized I wasn’t even given the right room!!! They downgraded me!!! They offered me 10% off my next stay. That is not good enough to make me ever go back.
The only good thing is it’s across from the beach.

Location is amazing! Bed and pillows were comfortable, room was good size with kitchenette, balcony and BBQ is a nice perk, Wi-Fi worked, door locks with codes great idea for a hotel, and pool area looked decent. For the price, the hotel owners should be able to hire more staff (especially on a long weekend), replace stained bedding, and upgrade laundry facilities to make sure bedding and towels are cleaned properly.

The location is excellent. Right across from the beach. Close to many restaurants and cafés. Our non smoking room was attached to a smoking room which may have been why the room had an off smell. The couch also had a smell. The room was clean. The pool and hot tub were very convenient.

Expedia overbooked the hotel so we had to switch rooms for our 2 night stay. The front desk clerk, Sharon, did the absolute best she could and made the move very easy on us. The first room we had did not feel clean. There was sand all over the floor, countertops were not wiped down and the only toiletry put out was a bar of soap. The kitchen was sparsely stocked with Settings for two and minimal cooking utensils. The second room we stayed in was considerably cleaner when we went in, toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, handcream, and soap were left out, and the kitchen was much better stocked. Parking can tricky, with not enough parking spots for guests. we witnessed a disagreement over someone attempting to save a spot as well as another incident where a woman had to keep coming back to try and find a spot to park in.
