We stayed 4 nights, room 311 on the 3rd floor. The room was okay with a a King bed and the bathroom was clean. The internet was one thing that worked well in our room. The morning breakfast (7-10am) was quite good, except the coffee carafes would often become empty for quite awhile before they got replaced. There were just a bunch of little things that were not being done or not being maintained. For example: The vinyl curtains had many splits in them with duct tape trying to hold them together. The entrance light in our unit was mostly burnt out (flicker on and then totally off). I reported the light not working, but nothing was done while we were there. They had a 24hr pair of coffee machines near the front lobby, but these were always cold and had no coffee in them. The ice machines on several floors were "out of order" with signs on them to get ice from the 6th floor. We never saw any vacuuming being done in the hallways and many little pieces of paper or lint were present on the floors for all 4 days we were there. Likewise, there was a pair of washrooms on the main floor where the garbage can was overflowing with paper towels and was never cleaned out for the 4 days we were there. Room service didn't happen unless you called down to the front desk to ask for new towels. Parking was in an adjacent building and was $15 per night. We got a $98 ticket the first night, but the hotel did void that mistake. We give the place about a 3-star rating.

We checked in after being on the road for 9 hours. My wife and daughter went up to the room with the suitcases while I went to park the vehicle. I was told I needed to remove all valuables or it would be broke into. First red flag. After I got to the lobby my wife called to say that the room was not cleaned and the bed had been slept in. So they gave us a new room. The second room was something else. Stained like it had been a crime scene. We were supposed to be there for two nights and checked out as soon as we could. This location is horrible. The first one need a complete refresh/burn to the ground.

My biggest gripe with my stay relates to the keycards. I had to have my keycards replaced because the full set stopped working. This happened on 4 separate occasions. I was assured this is a common issue but the hotel is getting renovated in a couple months.... Besides that the room was acceptable but the sink did not drain well and was dirty and the carpet left dirt on my bare feet so I had to wipe them off before getting in bed.

We arrived and were unable to check in until well after 5pm - many others - dozens if not hundreds - were in the same position. The hotel staff said they were fully booked which is fine, but what they did was allow many (maybe all?) guests from the prior night to do a very late checkout - as a result - the rooms for new guests checking in were not ready by 3pm when check in time is because cleaning rooms got delayed due to the lake checkouts. There were so many tired, frustrated people in the lobby for hours because of this - people waiting to check in and could not get to their rooms. There were not enough chairs for people to sit in - many people seemed exhausted and exasperated and it was many hours of people having to stand and wait to check in. Also - one employee had really bad BO and this smell was like an entity that attached to and lingered in the halls and in many of the floors as well as both elevators. You could not escape it. It made the experience unpleasant.

It was fine but it is definitely run down. The building needs some upgrades. The parking situation isn't great as the hotel doesn't have any of its own parking and you have to pay impark to park your car $15 a day. We parked for free and walked a few blocks. We stayed 4 nights and no one cleaned our room regularly. The comforter was dirty and we requested a new one. No one ever brought one. We had to ask for more towels each day.

The room was clean, the bed was too, towels were great although shampoo ran out, and most staff were very helpful. The breakfast did not seem to feed the required number of guests. Have more than one staff member overseeing breakfast and more options. Despite this would stay at the hotel again.
