Very nice hotel. Downside is that you have to pay to use every facility. I recommend going wild swimming in the resivoir - a lot less people. Staff are friendly and they were accommodating of our dogs

It was my mom's 75th birthday and so I decided to take her to a nice spa. And since we didn't live in the area, it was convenient to stay in the hotel and then just walk down to the spa wrapped in the bathrobe. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful. Clean and very well up kept. The lobby is nice and airy. But as soon as we got to the desk, they didn't have our reservation. Not sure what happened, because it was still active on my phone. Whether the hotel messed up or not, it took some tweaking and they made it right by upgrading us to a nice suite with a huge patio. Unfortunately it was raining all 3 days we were there, so we didn't get to use it, but they're was a nice bistro table with 2 chairs to sit at and 2 comfy looking lounge chairs. Bummer. The spa. The spa is breathtaking. They did really really good job. Everything was nice and clean and everyone seemed to be having great time being lost in their own world. Nothing i would change, accept for maybe adding an extra step to get in the whirlpool, as it could be challenging for someone older with a hip replacement surgery to get in. My mom wasn't able to get in, as the step was pretty high. She still enjoyed the pool though. Back to the hotel. If you have any dietary restrictions, please ask in advance. They CAN tend to you dietary needs. I was being told "no", but then talked to the director of the hotel that happened to be there and he confirmed they can. It was too late for us though, as we were checking out.

In the property`s main page on the Expedia, and during the reservation process, it does not state that the pool requires additional fee nor it stays that the pool is part of wellness, which is misleading because they requires from you to pay for wellness to use pool. Otherwise 5 from 5.

The air conditioner is soo bad

The SPA is excellent, the HOTEL had a couple issues, our AC was not working, we were offered 'fans' instead of a fix or a new room. Also, our room was on second floor, next to their admin offices where ppl work.

We loved the hotel and the wellness spa. We didn't like that there was not food/dining for kids/teens.

Maximus Resort - check-in was fine but the rooms around ours were having tiles and floors replaced so the noise was continuous all afternoon and impossible to stay in room…the resort is huge with spas and baths as far as the eye can see … it has the air of a workers paradise with lots of organized fun activities…bars full of backslappers glad to see each other and the grounds are full of robed people moving in and out of spas and saunas and plunge pools…we were traveling through and had no time to stay for the spa experience but it looked great…the restaurant is very good and the breakfast buffet was extensive and substantial. Maximus is located outside Brno along a narrow road through forest so it’s not a place to stay if you want to explore Brno but if you’re looking for a long weekend of spa and exercise with friends - this is the place.

Terrible, overbooked hotel, poor hotels.com service, did not bother to find replacement accommodation, left in the middle of the night without a room

Only reason for us to stay at Maximus Resort for 2 nights was Infiniti Wellness & Spa. Staff at Maximus Resort was helpful, property was clean. We had a very nice buffet breakfast as you should expect from a 4-star hotel. However, our Economy Double Room was disappointing. It looked like it was from early 2000s, with no air-conditioning. The bathroom was not 'exciting'. Our double bed was actually two single mattresses next to each other. We couldn't really sleep next to each other in our honeymoon. The only difference between Economy and Deluxe rooms are size so I expect that other rooms are in the same condition. I don't really mind anything to be honest since our main reason for stay was the spa and wellness but it's a lot of money for a night of stay and you dont really get much in return.

The area of the hotel is amazing and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel itself is modern with very light colors used. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Very nice attitude. The rooms are very basic with not a very spacious bathroom area, however modern and well maintained. The balconies are amazing and are a great spot to relax and have a drink. For the amount of money you pay you would expect the rooms to be bigger. We decided not to go to the SPA since the price is a bit biting - 1000 CZK per person for the day (valid after check in until 2pm next day) - even it is already a nice price for the guests staying in the hotel, this is still a bit much for the price you pay for the stay. Breakfast was tasty, however not organized. Seems everyone came at the same time and there was not enough space for all the guests in the breakfast room. We think guests would appreciate staff advising less busy time frames to have a relaxed breakfast or better signage system - when there is another sitting area available guests would like to know about it not discovering it when leaving after a rushed breakfast. Check out is another story. At the check in we were advised that we pay at the check out as everything you spend will be posted on the room bill. Would appreciate an express check out for those who do not spend additional money, not to queue for 30 minutes just to pay by card which could have been already pre-authorized. Overall nice, but not value for the money you pay.

Great sauna world and rituals. Basic yet clean rooms. Restaurant with little vegetarian selection.
