Decent place! Welcoming staff

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The only downside is the noise from the cars in the street, which is excepted considering the location.

Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and the staff. The location is extremely strategic and convenient — everything you need is just a short walk away. Right next to the hotel there is one of the most popular restaurants in the area, offering tasty and fresh food. Please note that you may need to wait around 30 minutes for a table, as it is very busy. The hotel has an elevator, and the room was nice, clean, and spacious. Housekeeping was done daily. We would definitely stay here again.

On first night, they moved us to some other place instead of the hotel we booked because they overbooked. On second night, we came back to castello. After coming back, elevator stopped working on 2nd day and it’s still not working!! We have to go up 7 floors to reach our room in an old building. My parents are old and they can’t climb so many stairs. There is still no solution today after 2 days.

This is my second stay in the hotel. It's in the great location, close to all amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is very clean. I can recommend this hotel to anybody, who is looking for a good hotel for a good price.

Here is the translation to English: “We arrived to look for the hotel and found it inside a building. The entrance of the building was dirty, and the elevator was an old metal one. We tried to use the elevator, but it was unavailable. We went up the stairs, which were dirty and narrow. On the first floor, we found dirty doors and unbearable smells. We asked about Castillo and were told it was on the second floor. We went up, and a girl welcomed us. She took us to the first room; we reluctantly agreed to it even though it was small. The second room wasn’t available, and she said she would give us a small room with two beds and not even a window, for one night only, because the guest in the room that was supposed to be ours hadn’t left yet.”“He refused to leave and renewed his stay, even though he was the one who was supposed to take the small room. They couldn’t find any solution for us. We asked to meet the manager; they said he was traveling and refused to let us call him. Then we discovered that he was actually in his office and didn’t speak to us. The area does not feel safe or clean, and the treatment was unprofessional. I do not recommend this place to anyone.”

Reasonable price, clean rooms and helpful staff.

The people in this hotel are super nice and Maryam was very helpful and polite to me I’ll never forget her kindness. So glad that I chose castello Hotel.

The room is as not ready after traveling 24 hours and confirming 48 hours in advance. We had to stay at a hotel four blocks away for the night, then come back to the Castello the following morning. The room was not cleaned daily and the beds not made. Staff was very inexperienced with customer service. The toilet broke twice and the shower would not drain. The room was overall dirty when we checked in.

But for the price I paid, I was actually pleasantly surprised by this hotel. My main concerns were cleanliness and a decent night's sleep, and on those fronts, this place delivered. The room wasn't huge or particularly stylish, but it was noticeably clean. The sheets looked fresh, the bathroom was scrubbed (no mysterious hairs or grime!), and there wasn't that lingering musty smell you sometimes get in budget hotels. That was a huge plus for me. The check-in was straightforward and quick, no lengthy delays or rude staff. The person at the front desk was polite and efficient, which is all you can really ask for. The amenities were basic, but functional. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the air conditioning worked, and there was a TV. What more do you really need for a budget stay? Look, if you're expecting luxury, this isn't your place. But if you're looking for a clean, no-frills hotel that won't break the bank, then this is a solid option. It's a good value for the money, and I appreciated that they clearly prioritize cleanliness, which is often overlooked in this price range. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I needed a budget-friendly option in the area. It's not fancy, but it's clean and gets the job done without emptying your wallet.
