The staff at the Italian Restaurant are exceptional in their presentation and service manner when attending to you. The food is delightfully tasty, and the range is extensive. The hotel is very close to the airport, which makes it a winner for me. Great experience all around.

I like to stay at the Le Passage for lots of reasons. It is cheaper than the other big airport hotel that is attached to the Cairo International Airport, the food is incredible in the buffet selection, the beers are icy cold, it is only a very short free shuttle bus away from the terminals in the airport, the staff are incredibly friendly and help make your stay a pleasure. It is a well-maintained facility and I've always enjoyed my overnight rests in the Le Passage before continuing my journey the next day.

Le Passage was a very nice hotel. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of on-site restaurants to choose from. The airport shuttle ran every half hour and there was no problem communicating with them via WhatsApp. We booked an executive room and were surprised with free access to the executive lounge that included a complimentary happy hour and the breakfast buffet! The hotel's convenience to the airport (less than a 10 minute shuttle ride) made our extended layover very tolerable. Unfortunately, the casino is currently closed, but that certainly did not distract from our stay. Thanks Le Passage staff!

I expected a 5-star experience at Le Passage, but it was subpar at best. The main attraction, the casino, is randomly open but generally closed, and the "disco" was an abandoned, "couples-only" ghost town. Every gift shop looked dusty and forgotten, with employees just staring at their phones. The "luxury" ends at the lobby. The room was a disaster: the beds are on wheels, so you're constantly rolling around, and the AC is purely for aesthetics. It stayed uncomfortably hot and humid all night. To make it worse, the door lets in a ton of light and the noise levels were unfortunate. I was constantly woken up late at night and early in the morning. They nickel-and-dime you for everything, the drinks are overpriced and not worth buying, and the experience just isn't there. The only saving graces were the great pool, the nice staff and the free airport transfer. The mid-range buffet was fine, and the free laundry for long stays is awesome, but it doesn't make up for the lack of sleep and closed amenities. It’s a 3-star hotel with 5-star prices. Skip it.

This place is ideal for a layover but not for visiting Cairo. It us not within walking distance to anything. And no nearby public transportation so you rely exclusively on uber or taxis. No other options for dinning within walking distance so you either eat there (expensive) or call uber to take you elsewhere.

My stay at Le Passage Hotel Cairo was very disappointing and well below expectations. The most serious issue was the clear preferential treatment based on nationality. Guests who spoke Arabic or were from certain Western countries were consistently prioritized—allowed to skip queues and served faster—while others were left waiting or treated dismissively. This was a repeated pattern and created an unfair and uncomfortable experience. Such bias is unacceptable in an international hotel. Staff professionalism was inconsistent. While a few were polite, several reception staff were rude and unhelpful, making interactions frustrating. The breakfast was substandard, with the same limited menu every day and little variety. Some items seemed stale, which further reduced the overall experience. Rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. Plumbing issues, including clogging and drainage problems, were frequent and inconvenient. The airport shuttle service was poorly coordinated, especially during pick-up. There was confusion and lack of communication, forcing us to arrange alternative transport at our own expense. Overall, due to discriminatory service, poor staff behavior, low-quality food, unreliable transport, and aging facilities, I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Pool staff harassment: Male staff repeatedly stared at my chest and body while I collected towels and sunbathed. Some grinned and constantly watched me, making me avoid eye contact and limit my time there. While in the gym, a staff member outside appeared to be recording or photographing me with his phone. As soon as I faced him, he put it down. This made me feel very unsafe. Additionally, a massage therapist approached me and asked if I needed services. The timing was pushy and inappropriate; if I wanted a massage, I would have come for one. A female staff member repeatedly tried to engage me despite my polite, minimal responses. She asked if I wanted my room cleaned and for my room number, even though she already knew it. The conversation ended with her intense stare, which made me extremely uncomfortable. On arrival, the shuttle said it would arrive in “10 minutes” twice but never showed, so I had to make my own arrangements. The receptionist apologized on the driver’s behalf. On departure, the driver stared at my body, spoke excessively, and continued watching me after I exited, which felt unsafe. Due to the repeated harassment, inappropriate behavior, and unprofessional conduct by multiple staff members, I felt extremely unsafe during my stay. As a result, I had no choice but to leave the hotel immediately, cutting my stay short and incurring additional costs to protect my personal safety.

I loved our stay at Great Pyramid Inn. The staff were very attentive, the room we booked had a beautiful view of the pyramids, the rooftop restaurant was great, breakfast was absolutely delicious and the laundry service exceptional! We got the complimentary airport transfer pick up which helped so much as we arrived at 1.30am. Our driver was so friendly and a very safe driver. We felt very safe the entire stay. It was wonderful being so close to the pyramids entrance and only a short drive to the GEM. We recommend staying here and if we return we will stay here again.

Convenient transit-focused hotel. Near Cairo airport with frequent free shuttle. Rooms are clean and water is hot. Water-saver features in bathrooms are annoying. Food (buffet breakfast) is plentiful and usually tasteless. Not really appealing. We had a buffet dinner included in rate. It looked good, but one had to hunt for tasty dishes. Staff was typically useless. They were more interested in talking among themselves than they were in helping guests.

I probably not stay here again do to the fact that it is convenient only for the airport, for everything else you either have to get a taxi ir uber since there is nothing else at walking distance.
