Front desk staff were fantastic. Hotel was in great location for catching a bus, train, or coach. Would stay there again.

Convenient location near Victoria Tube. The room felt a bit run down. But the front desk attendant was very good at checkin.

The hotel was perfectly located for us being so close to Victoria station as we had an early morning flight from Gatwick (reached via train from Victoria). For the price we paid we were impressed with the quality. The only thing that brought down the rating was that we had a couple wheels on our case that were damaged in our flight and although we appreciated the assistance taking the heavy bag up 3 flights of stairs, they did make me wheel worse in the process and also when we reached the room it had a slightly funky smell. Overall really good though and would return.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Little noisy as train line outside but we were so tired we didn’t really hear it. Was able to leave bags in storage so we could go out the next day and then come back and collect them later. Short walk to Victoria station and underground

Hotel was very convenient for us to get around. Staff was friendly. Room was small but still comfortable for us to sleep in.

Was a great hotel for convenience to many walkable sites.

EASY TO GET TO FROM VICTORIA BUS TERMINAL

Comfortable bedroom in basement, had all mod cons, not luxurious but modern and clean, recently refurbished . Felt a bit of train rumble as very close to Victoria but this did not disturb my sleep. Very convenient location for exploring London.

We've now stayed here three times. Fantastic location, clean rooms and always very helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The location was good but the near area of homeless people and trash cans can affect the experience. Overall a good hotel.

We stayed for a total of 5 nights extremely fine service! Best location! Close to underground close to anything you can think of and many cafes! Overrall give them 5 stars on everything!!!

Very disappointing breakfast selection

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Although it felt like it was under construction a bit! Lots of workmen around and banging. Staff though were very helpful and attentive. I was upgraded from a single room to a bigger room with four single beds. No phone in room. No plant-based milk but when I phoned they found me some for breakfast. Disposable cups in room and heating turned up too high. Standard message about leaving towels used on the floor to ‘save the planet’. Not much for vegans at breakfast. Practical and handy for Victoria.

Overall I found the hotel to be very good and wonderfully well located half a block from Victoria Coach Station and two short blocks from Victoria Rail and Victoria Tube Stations. It was close to some theatres and restaurants. The property was freshly renovated and well maintained. It consists of four or five historic townhouses and an issue I had was that my building had no elevator and only steep, winding steps. The staff without hesitation carried my large luggage up and down but the configuration might be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. I should have requested a lower level room. The breakfast was nicely served in the lobby but choices were very limited … definitely “continental. Rooms and the lobby had coffee and tea available all the time. Even the “double rooms” seemed small but the hotel had a lot of character and was very comfortable and clean with lots of hot water and great water pressure! I would return.

It was our second time to stay here. Great location, always helpful staff and spotless room.

We had a basement room in one if the annexes in Hugh Street. Very Very hot all of the time and had to have air conditioning on a lot. Downside, very narrow staircase down so hard to take case up and down. Lots of mirrors which was great, actually had the desk/mirror and plug sockets in sync (so many hotels don’t) and beds were comfy. Great for Victoria Station. I would return but not in a basement room

The room was a very small single with bathroom en suite. It was in a clean condition with Wifi, tea/coffee, hairdryer and safe were provided as well as a range of bathroom items. The bed was comfortable yet small. As regards value for money in that location close to Victoria Station, I had no complaints. Staff were helpful and a pretty basic breakfast was available for a modest price. I had difficulty operating the heating/AC system with both a wall AC unit and radiator with separate controls, excessive for the scale of the room. I would consider returning to this hotel or another in the Best Western chain, but would probably pay extra for a "double" room. All in all, good value for money.
