Property okay- adequate for a short stay.
In need of a bit of TLC.
Room clean and spacious enough. Tea/coffee and small fridge.
Swimming pool onsite which we used a lot due to heat! Also in need of TLC but large enough to cool off and enjoy.
Fan only in room. No air conditioning.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Walkable but not a lot to see- we drove to beach etc. co-op and a couple of choices to eat. Restaurant onsite.
Fairly quiet area though near a main lane/road.
Plenty of car parking which we are discovering is valuable!!

Property a little tired but room clean and adequate for a short stay.
Tea/coffee in room.
Walkable to a local co-op which was useful, not a lot available for eating facilities though hotel has restaurant onsite.
We drove out of town for sightseeing.
Swimming pool onsite which was great- in need of some TLC but adequate for relaxing and cooling off (though heated all year round). Would recommend for a short stay. Staff friendly and helpful.

Good property with excellent breakfast. Very close to Eden Project. Also easy to get to other sights in the vicinity including Fovey & Lanhydrock. Only issue was rooms are cleaned on request. We were told we need to inform them before 10am when we checked in and also there was a notice in the room with same information. However when we first went to request room cleaning at 9am, we were informed by a male receptionist that we were too late as we need to inform them before 9am. So room was not cleaned that day. Thereafter we informed them of any requests before 9am and rooms were cleaned and towels replaced.
Otherwise pleased with our stay here despite the extreme heat. There was a fan in the room which helped. The pool was heated and lovely to spend some time swimming.

The hotel is not bad and staff excellent but the food wasn’t all good.
The Greek chicken was beyond dry and the breakfast was very poor. Eggs you could have used as weapons, rock hard!
The soup was good and my son did enjoy the pizza.
The swimming pool was lovely and warm but in a very bad state of repair. Black dots floating in the water and black algae on the sides, not good!!!

The building is looking a little tired in places is my only complaint.

Cons
- Booked 2 x twin rooms but only gave one key card. When we asked and received the second card it blocked access for the original card. This happened for both rooms we booked.
- We stayed 4 nights, it's frustrating that you have to request cleaning by 10am for the following day.
- When cleaning was requested, they made the bed but did not clean the bathroom or replace the towels. When we asked ast reception, they said they had no idea who had been in our room!?
- The pool states that it was heated, it did not feel like it was heated and it was dirty. You can see grime on the steps where people have tried to scratch off the dirt.
- The WiFi settings do not allow you to cast things via Chromecast which is a shame.
- We were told that the front door was open 24/7 but this was not the case. It was locked on the first night so we never tried again.
I expected more when paying £800 in total for 2 rooms x 4 nights.

Accommodation is a little tired but kept very clean. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately restaurant wasn't open despite website stating that it had opened. However we were able to bring in a takeaway and eat it in the bar area which was helpful. Pool wasn't open as closed for maintenance for a few days which was disappointing.
It seems that this hotel has a new policy not to service rooms daily - apparently you should be offered daily housekeeping on checking-in, but we weren't offered and neither were another couple we were talking to. We were only there a couple of nights so not too bad for us but worth being aware of.

Good staff , food good , but no hot water in the sink or bath to wash in the morning it was stone cold. I told the manager who was very apologetic and said he would get it looked at.
