We booked Sunday and Monday night for a relaxing stay. We should have done our homework beforehand as we had never stayed in a hotel that closed its restaurant on those evenings. Breakfast was very nice, however you have to help yourself to everything - hot drinks, cold buffet, cook your own toast, hot breakfast. Staff were on hand to assist, stock up and clear tables. We found it all very DIY, so if you want a relaxing stay and to be waited on hand and foot, this place is NOT for you. Daily cleaning of the room was good, however you could easy find fault if you went looking. Monday night was £146 b&b with an open bar. So not what I consider good value or luxury. Perhaps it lends itself to large business conference efficiency. We would not choose to return unless we needed to be in the centre of Farnham.

Another wonderful stay at the Bush in beautiful Farnham! Each year we come back to find yet another upgrade to the property. This year the walkway from the free parking lot to the hotel had been repaved - great improvement! And Christmas dinner was lovely. Great service, great property.

Reception was fine, and the room comfortable, but I had to complain about poor service at breakfast. I was left waiting half an hour for my full english. The waitress didn't do her job properly.

My review would have been 5 star except for the heating in the bedroom. This is centrally controlled and we had to ask reception to turn it on. To be fair they did this immediately, but you can't adjust it in your room so it went from too cold to too hot!

The safe (lock box) didn't work on arrival, asked them to fix it, came home in the evening and it wasn't done. Had to call again in the morning and they had to change the battery.
Wasn't a fan of the thermostat being locked
There was an old phone in the room that didn't work at all, had to have that replaced.
Definitely need to polish up on things.

The reception staff were amazing and very helpful. I appreciated them providing a ground floor entrance as I requested.
The manager allowed me access to my room well before the check-in time after my long flight from Australia.
I highly recommend the Bush Hotel to everyone visiting Farnham, Surrey, UK.
