Beautiful hotel, could not fault this at all

Excellent food and atmosphere with beautiful view of the river and first class bedroom and shower.

Immaculately presented. Very friendly staff from check in , concierge and bar staff I was made to feel welcomed. The room, again very well presented, clean and of a decent size. A very enjoyable stay.

Hotel was amazing. And staff so happy and willing to make your stay that little extra special. Food was delicious and everywhere clean and tidy. Highly recommend Hotel. I will definitely be returning

Room was perfect in all areas, polite and professional Staffing, standard breakfast.

Lovely room, good location, parking at the rear of the hotel in a multi storey with designated bays (£15 for 24hrs).

Only stayed for 1 night , but was wowed So stylish lovely classy decor Don’t think there was anything we didn’t like

Nice condition but suite was very small and next to nothing in the mini bar. Wasn’t refilled after day 1 of a 2 night stay Not great value for money. Tiny bottle of body wash provided for 2 people for 2 nights. Felt a bit stingy on the extras.

Everything about our stay was first class from the minute we arrived staff were very helpful

Room was a bit dusty the mirror, the lamps and the phone. The sink also had hairs in it when we arrived. Apart from that it was good, spacious room comfy bed fresh towels. Staff was great too very helpful and attentive.

Room was excellent the staff couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant and the food was outstanding

Always a fantastic experience staying in the Dekota. Very professional staff and service is brilliant. Luxury throughout the hotel. Breakfast is very good variety.

Clean rooms, outstanding staff, outstanding food

As regular customers of Dakota Leeds, Manchester and Edinburgh we had been looking forward to staying at Dakota Newcastle to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately the room we booked didn’t live up to expectations with flat lumpy pillows and a broken curtain that wouldn’t close fully, letting light into the room from 6.40am which woke us up early and meant we didn’t get the relaxing lie in we had hoped for whilst away. Staff were polite and the breakfast was tasty, but bowls and plates were slow to be cleared despite us being the only people in there. Overall we felt it was a bit disappointing as a first stay in a relatively new 5* hotel and improvements are needed if Dakota Newcastle wants to meet the standards of Dakota Leeds, Manchester and Edinburgh who we feel have been consistently excellent. Other reviews also mention being upgraded, however this is not something we were offered although we had mentioned it was our anniversary and they had availability.

Everything was perfect, my partner and I will definitely return soon.
