Great location and great property. Half hour walk into York with easy parking. Room was spacious and clean and with a very nice bathroom. Indoor pool and jacuzzi and sauna were clean and easy to use. Definitely recommend

Have stayed previously. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. Breakfast good with plenty of options. Only minor criticism being room service food trays left in corridors.

Room was great. Lady at reception was so helpful. Enjoyed the gym, pool and sauna. Great vhoice of items in the breakfast buffet. Couldn 't fault it.

First room we were offered was not acceptable, second room was the same as our previous stays and good except that the heating didn’t work, we were asked if we wanted house keeping service which we said yes but is wasn’t carried out

Easy check in with parking. Comfortable bed, although the bathroom was a little tired & could do with a bit of maintenance but nothing that spoiled our stay. Easy walk into town & easy drive out & towards home too. Great location. Beautiful view across the racecourse from the breakfast room.

Clean room Hotel had the Christmas decorations up which made it feel and look more inviting. Breakfast lovely, lots of choice. Only negative was that we got two steak ciabattas and two small wines which was over £50 and the steak was inedible / chewy.
