Eslington Villa

Room which was at the front of the property overlooked the car park. Single glazed windows which you could hear absolutely everything happening outside from but also which rattled throughout the night with the wind. Found the mattress uncomfortable and on the firm side for me so taking everything into account, had a very disrupted sleep. Was woken abruptly by a fire alarm going off for a few seconds. Limited choices at breakfast but tasted ok.

The room was excellent. Well maintained. Good facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful

Two nights, all good. Clean and tidy, excellent value for money.

Loved everything about the hotel, except that the apartment was very cold. They did try to fix it to no avail. We had to use the bedding to cover us up whilst sat on the sofa. The breakfast was really nice and the staff second to none. We were attending a wedding nearby and they ordered us a taxi We would definitely stay again but maybe nit in the apartment unless the heating was fixed for the colder months.

We arrived late and were greeted by a young girl who was pleasant enough but obviously at the end of a long shift. Asked if we stayed before and when we said no she sighed and said you room is well up the stairs and follow the white signs ? We then came down for a drink and we discussed a brandy of which they only had one and then asked me again which brandy and I repeated you only had one. Very pleasant but admitted she did not know much about the alcohol. The room was fine and clean and comfortable but when we came to have a shower the next morning no hot water and when i mentioned it to the rather unpleasant girl in the morning she said thanks and they would get it fixed ! very helpful to us. Breakfast was a farce. we were ignore for 10 minutes an had to sit at a table with dirty plates etc but only table tat was not covered in dirty crockery and debris with two clean place settings. Asked for tea and toast 3 times over the next 45 minutes tea arrived after 20 minutes and less than fresh toast after 45 minutes each time we asked if was as if it was our first request and the croissants we requested never appeared. We did get hot/warm food but scrambled egg extremely interesting. Girl advised they were busy restaurant half empty but every table still covered with dirty crockery etc when we left two members of staff wandering around aimlessly with no direction and we saw other diners leaving with no toast and tea after waiting so long. Avoid at all costs this hotel.

The room was very well kept, organised and tidy. The lady who's name I don’t really know was wonderful, attentive and gave a 5 star qulaity service.

Lovely hotel. Great rooms and lush breakfast

Our room was quite tired and pretty dirty - there were hairs and dust where there shouldn't be. The room was also very warm, and I had to repeatedly ask for a fan. Also, no one answered my calls when I rang reception about this three times. The best bit about the 2 night stay was the friendliness of the breakfast staff.

Fantastic property and great price.

We stayed here for one night to attend a concert, bargain price for what was offered. Easy 20 mins into Newcastle town centre, super friendly staff, comfy bed, one of the best showers I've had in a hotel and fantastic breakfast! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Charming place to stay. A refreshing change from the usual corporate style and very tasty, interesting dinner menu.

The hotel is situated close to local amenities but just far away to be quiet. Some areas of the hotel require a lick of paint but it was generally clean and worth the money. Breakfast was good.

Excellent service and it’s not lost it’s appeal

Lovely building and grounds. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food excellent with good choices. Unfortunately Willow room had no window and the bathroom was in need of some tlc and a new shower.
