Nice place to stay, reasonable rates and a excellent breakfast that comes with the room.

Pigeons everywhere. Otherwise for an old building it was fine. Breakfast was very good. Staff good.

Amazing staff. Vicky was amazingly helpful and Connor and the lady who served us breakfast also. Rooms a little tired but bed cean and comfy and had an amazing stay with safe parking, at a good price. Thanks guys, doing a great job!

Such a lovely hotel. Clean & well kept. We had one of the front balcony rooms and it was absolutely beautiful. The bar area is great. Good food and was well worth a visit or two!! The staff are really friendly, good fun and literally couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here for 3 days, we had no issues at all. The location is very central to Frome, so we didn't have to walk far to get to the places we wanted to visit. I read in other reviews that the car park is small and difficult to park in, so we parked in other carparks near. The service from the staff was definitely a highlight - Wayne is fantastic! in the evening, he was very friendly and had a great sense of humour. We felt very welcome. The staff who were working in the morning were also very nice and accommodating, although we didn't catch their names. The room was good and both breakfasts and dinners were also very good, and had decent menus. Considering the price, we feel that the George Inn is difficult to beat and exceeded all expectations

We stayed at the George as we had gig at the nearby Cheese and Grain. The Hotel is lovely large rooms with a lovely vintage feel; good value for the cost. The breakfast was exellent and the staff so friendly. Best of all there was secure parking. We will be back.

I was very impressed with The George Hotel. I had a very spacious room and bathroom. The bed itself was massive! Slight wear and tear as to be expected, but it was very clean and lots of toiletries on hand. It's located in a great spot, central to all the shops and local landmarks and walkable from the train station. The food was absolutely incredible and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again.

The George Hotel & Granary 5 Market Pl, Frome BA11 1AF Pub Clare 281 points 6 hours agoSpent a night at this lovely hotel with my two daughters in a family room. Hotel is in a great location, right in the town centre. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful cobbled streets with many lovely little eclectic, independent shops in which you could spend many happy hours pottering! When we arrived we were greeted by Wayne who instantly made us feel very welcome. He couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and during dinner, which we had in the hotel restaurant, he couldn't do enough for us. Lots of great banter too! The food was delicious and incredibly good value. Our room, no 28, was very spacious, loads of room for bags etc, overlooking the road to the front, but there was absolutely no noise from outside. The bar and restaurant area are really nice with a lovely, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is only a ten minute drive to Longleat and the Aqua Sana Spa. There is secure parking behind the hotel. Really can't fault anything about our stay. Can't recommend highly enough.

Our first stay in this Hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff from the start, check in was a breeze. Security lock to the rooms so only guests have access as the bar and restaurant is open to the public. Room was great, had a balcony overlooking the main high street was a nice surprise. We had an evening meal there, good choice on the menu, again service was excellent. Following morning we had a breakfast, great selection, choice of cooked items as well as the cereal selections.

The Hotel i Stayed in the Geogre Hotel was very Nice.The Staff was Very Friendly and Helpful and i stayed here as it was Easier to get to the Venue where i was going to for a Gig The Cheese and Grain.The Room was Very Clean and Tidy and the Bed was Very Comfy.and Then i had Breakfast also in the Morning before i Checked out.I do Recommend Staying here.

Fantastic place to stay

The hotel is situated in a lovely area and looks really nice both inside and out. The staff were exceptional and were extremely helpful and communicative. 10/10 stay. Will most definitely come back.
