We had a one night stay and it was very good from start to finish, staff were amazingly helpful and very welcoming nothing was no trouble...........the cleanliness of the room was excellent, but I found the bed uncomfortable 😣 it felt a bit lumpy............ Breakfast was lovely. On a whole we had an excellent stay and would definitely use again.

Very clean friendly hotel. The breakfast option was very good.

Overall, our stay was good. All the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped and clean. Hotel was well situated for walking to places we wanted to go to. Unable to book a car parking place but fortunately we found one on JustPark which was much cheaper anyway. As we were staying for 2 nights we were happy to use the same towels and hung them up (as requested by the sign in the room) rather than leaving them on the floor to be changed. They were all changed, so not very eco-friendly! We didn’t enjoy the breakfast very much. The bacon was fairly tasteless. There was no choice of eggs and the scrambled eggs weren’t nice - possibly powdered eggs were used? Bread was cheap. Potato things weren’t very good. Tea bags were weak and there was no option to have skimmed/semi-skimmed milk. Although there was plenty of other milks for cereal. It was quite busy when we went for breakfast. Some large tables were being used by single people or couples. It might be helpful if staff could seat people at appropriately sized tables during busy times? It was really convenient to have the bar to use when we got back late in the evening. Also an adequate food menu - nothing fancy, but that’s all you want really! The staff were lovely. I’m unsure about the charge, because I was charged £180 for booking but my bill from the hotel when we checked out was only £153. Overall, I would stay there again.

Nice hotel, clean and safe

Great hotel. Lovely breakfast. Ben behind reception was exceptionally helpful and kind to us.

Receptionist very helpful and cheerful, Breakfast is great with lots of different options, room very clean with a fantastic bathroom, bed very comfy also the tv is large.

Banging doors throughout the night from other guests. Then banging doors in the morning from the staff! The breakfast is the worst experience ever, with huge queues, so we went elsewhere and paid. The night before in the Perimier Inn was much better and cheaper.

Staff was friendly Did not like bed very uncomfortable, small room, outdated, carpet needs replacing smells

Overpriced, very basic room, too dark, almost no light, bathroom door not locking, neither staying closed. No sofa or chairs except 1 for a booking of 3. Looked to be a haunted room on 1st floor. £15 for parking in a tier-4 city of England, where no one wants to live or migrate, a day light robbery, parking entrance/exit is a test of your skills. Not recommended at all.

The staff was very helpful and polite and friendly. A very pleasant staff all round.

This is a good hotel made excellent by the friendly, attentive, professional and fun front of house staff. Nothing was to much trouble. In fact hats off to all the staff. They were all incredible. The rooms are big, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The air-con was icy cold on a hot August day. The bathrooms are modern with a powerful hot shower. Ironing boards and irons in every room. Centrally located. Breakfast was included in the price and plentiful. Hot, cold, fresh waffles, fabulous. We stopped for 2 nights for my son’s wedding at Kelham Island and these guys made the run up and the following morning so hassle free. There were 4 generations of our family stopping and we all agreed our stay was perfect.

Great location! Staff were brilliant, the rooms were clean and tidy! Mattress a bit too hard for my liking, but that's down to my preference

Nice small room with conformable beds. The staff were very friendly, helpful and nice.

Room was clean and spacious with iron and hairdryer. Choice at breakfast was superb
