Great stay, thanks! Great, convenient location steps away from Matthew Street and the Cavern Club and just a seven minute walk to the docks and Mersey Ferry. The mod-decor is gorgeous with lots of art posters, photos and Beatles related paraphernalia throughout; additionally, the Beatles lounge-cafe (off reception) is a cool place to relax and drink it all in. My room on the 3rd floor, facing out was comfortable and spacious for a single, with a Nespresso machine (upgraded for that), a big tub, and, great light-👍 The staff was excellent and helpful. Shout outs to Nathan: many thanks for your extensive professional help and information on Liverpool; as well as, for kindly booking my airport taxi; to Will, James, Sneha, and Emma, Faith, Lexie, and Amber: thanks for everything. Thank you, Eric, for telling me about the Cook Street bus which turned out to be perfect. Many thanks to the rest of the staff at the front desk for all your warm hospitality. I highly recommend a stay here for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool, especially, if you’re a Beatles music fan.

The hotel is very dark, carpet is wearing thin on the staircase, the room was dark and gloomy could not see to get ready no natural daylight in the room we were allocated, the window faced a tunnel of buildings - we mentioned this to the reception staff asked if an extra lamp could be put in the room? nothing came. The room was not cleaned while we were there either on the Sunday morning we went for breakfast (9/9.15am) and put the relevant door hanger on the outside of the door, when we came back from breakfast it was still there, we left in hanging on the door whilst we were out during the day, when came back early evening it was still there - these rooms are not cheap. Some staff were polite and friendly others not so at breakfast we had to pay there was no please and thank you just "you need to pay now" no receipt was offered or given Bar staff on the Saturday evening evening were friendly however when it closed they advised that the reception bar was still open - but there were no staff manning this bar - I remember the last time we stayed here this happened then also. We have stayed at this hotel many many times over the last 20 years unfortunately have to say this will probably be the last. Upon check out we were never asked if everything was ok during the stay, we wanted to pay cash for the room however they had taken the balance off the card which was swiped at check in - but were never advised this was going to be the case at check in

The hotel is fabulous! Located literally next door to the Cavern Club, the town centre and a pleasant 5 min walk from the waterfront, it is soooo handy to get to everything. The in house bars and restaurant are also great, serving great food and staff with many a local story/knowledge about the town and tours, places to visit and recommendations on food and days out, I have been there now 3 times and will always return to this hotel. We were allocated a room literally above Mathew Street (Cavern Club and many bars/restaurants which were very very noisy and upon request were moved to a room the other side of the hotel and upgraded for free. Superb service 😃

Utterly disappointed, this was a special gift to our parents who were celebrating their golden wedding and first time in Liverpool. They were there 3 nights and never once had their room service. They ran out of tea, coffee and toilet roll. My parents don’t like to make a fuss but had to complain on their third day. No beds were made and no towels replaced. I am so disappointed that their experience and our gift to them was a let down.

They supplied us with ice every night. (we are American and we love our ice water at the end of the day). The atmosphere of the hotel was a Beatle’s fan dream. The location is excellent in regards to Beatles tourist sites and the Royal Albert Dock. Within walking distance of several Liverpool cultural sights. The overall area feels very safe for tourists. The front desk staff was very helpful, specially Moe. He was very friendly and made sure our taxi arrived in time for our departure. We also want to acknowledge and thank Elliot, manager of N64 Restaurant for going out of his way to have my wife''s dinner delivered to our room when she was exhausted and tired. Hard Days Night Hotel located in the city centre is a perfect place to stay where everything is just 5 to 7 minutes away by walking: Pier Head, Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool Museum, the Beatles statue, Mercy Ferries, Beatles Story museum, and The Cavern on Mathew St is 2 minutes away. My dream vacation was fulfilled and Hard Days Night Hotel and its staff had made it even more memorable.

Booked because of the history of the Beatles when we were coming to Liverpool to see Paul Simon. Great decision, relaxing in the bar to great music, (not all Beatles) with very friendly staff, clean room and a great night sleep followed by welcoming breakfast. One small point is when returning to hotel after the gig all bars were shut, staff accommodated us in bringing drinks to reception for us and a few others, but the amount of people who came back, tried the bar and went straight to their rooms meant a loss of business and maybe a few disappointed patrons.

Air conditioning did not work, body wash in the shower was empty, unable to open the window at all, no microwave, no fridge. Staff was very nice and in a good location. Did not try the bar or restaurant but did hear live music. It's an ok hotel in a good spot but honestly overpriced most likely because of the theme.
