Breakfast did not have many choices

I guess it's what you would expect for a 2 star hotel. We were in a room close to reception and it was very noisy through the night. Avoid room 12 if they put you in there!

The parking was the only downside only a few hotel parking spaces that were already taken.We did park in Costa coffee car park but we had to cross a busy road.

Unfortunately I have severe osteoarthritis amd spinal damage...and have trouble sleeping..I went downstairs approximately 3 am..spoke to the night staff and asked if I could sit in the dining area...he abruptly said no... its closed.we open at 6. I asked again ..he said no. So for someone who is disabled...I hobbled over to McDonald's eho s staff were excellent ..for the £110 ish pounds...not for me or.my family...

Good to put up for 1 night or 2 short stay with easy access to supermarket and fast food outlets.

Very basic hotel but the room was clean and located in a good area within 10 minutes of Fratton station and close to fast food restaurants and supermarkets Tesco, Aldi and Lidl. The breakfast was a small selection, more fresh fruits would have been nice but what they did have was good. Check in and check out was quick and efficient.

The staff at check in were all very friendly and helpful, especially as we were offered a 4th floor room, but the lift was out of action. Having recently had a hip replacement, this wasn't convenient, so they gave us a ground floor room. Plus points, the aircon was a great relief, the bed was comfy, 2 large towels, good size tv on the wall and limited free parking. However, the room was a tad small, the toilet didn't flush well, the shower is in the room and not easy to get into without water splashing out. The walls aren't very thick, so you can hear people talking and also hear the toilets flushing from the floors above. The decor is in need of a big overhaul as paper is peeling off the walls. We paid way above normal prices for budget hotels, e.g. Travelodge and Premier Inn and without the other facilities like a kettle and tea/coffee makings.

Water only warm not hot , breakfast very disappointing ,not enough choice .

rooms very basic and poor parking. staff had different rules for different people, not a good stay and left a day early.

Staff helpful, parking good, if not at the hotel plenty nearby. Walk to coast, buses nearby, shops nearby. If you take a dog there is a small park just a few minutes away.

Everything was OK, but it all looked very tired and it was cramped. Breakfast was fine too, but a little odd in the choices available. Their commitment to sustainability is commendable, but disposable cups seemed an odd choice especially when there were proper plates and cutlery. The staff were lovely though, and very helpful.

Ideal for an overnight, close to The Guildhall. The guy on late reception was excellent and made coffee, when the coffee machine was u/s, great customer service.

For a budget price I got exactly what I expected. Comfy room, nice bathroom , very clean and would come back again for a short stay

The mattress on the bed was not even 6 inches deep and it felt like you were sleeping on the floor. The pillows were so soft and not fit for purpose. Paying for breakfast, don’t bother. You can get better in Tesco across the road than what you pay for there. The parking - don’t get caught out, the was told to park where I parked and asked them to check and they said it was ok to only find out this morning is wasn’t and now I’ll get a fine of £100. Won’t be coming back here.

Budget hotel does the job but no thrilsl

It’s £40 a night - you get what you pay for. One complaint is parking is in a retail park opposite me not

Room was small but did the job staff was noligable about local area breakfast was niece parking was ok and free

Friendly and helpful staff. Decent enough room. Shower cubicle opens directly into the room, so not much privacy. Managed to park on site most days, only had to use the overspill once.
