Overall ok stay. A few issues on arrival. Having upgraded from took only to breakfast we were left confused on how many guests this covered and were at one stage neon asked to pay extra for our daughters breakfast. Thankfully common sense prevailed and the upgrade paid for was deemed sufficient. Room 265 was ok, although ventilation was mixed in its ability to cool the room, and was very noisy. The shower control was extremely awkward to turn and it was almost impossible to keep the shower door closed and have a towel on the ground to stop slipping when exiting the shower. Breakfast was good and liked the omelette option served to the table. The hotel is a little bit maze like and the lifts can be temperamental. We tried to go to Sabine Rooftop bar but were told this was fully booked and no open access to hotel guests and ran independently. A slightly strange arrangement. Concierge helpful with luggage and taxi, thank you to them. Went to St Paul’s Cathedral for a service, wonderful experience. I had tried to extend our booking by one night but the dynamic pricing rate was at one stage suggesting the rate was double so had to seek alternative accommodation. A shame but I could not believe the price quoted, and would not buy at that price. I even called the hotel directly and was quoted a rate double that I paid for the same room. Overall ok stay, some aspects better than others.

The duty manager I found to be patronising and condescending, was not problem solving focused and just kept saying the hotel was busy. I have taken this up with hotels.com as I am demanding a full refund, the sole reason I booked this hotel was the option of baby cot services they claim to offer. My baby had no actual bed for the night and was required to sleep in our bed which is not safe nor advised to do as they are too small. Shameful actions by this hotel. This was not the first time staying here, but we have noticed standards have dropped every time we stayed. Our bathtub was broken too so was unable to bath my bath my child, nor was I able to shower during my stay, shrapnel and bits of sharp metal were in the bath which I brought to managements attention. If we had not noticed this and my 15 month old baby had cut himself I would have sued the hotel! Felt very disappointed and that the hotel did not support us during the whole ordeal.
