Imposing external hotel and location. Traditional decor and reception, with excellent check in staff. It is difficult to give any negative comments due to the very good room rate we paid and value for money overall. My only suggestion would be the library and rooms off the reception would benefit from some refurbishment, but our bedroom was large and very comfortable. We would stay here again without doubt.

Overnight stay for business. Room was good size (apart from sloping ceilings) view of outbuildings not the best. Bathroom spacious but dated with cracked marble sink unit. Restaurant food good and tasty but not the fine dining that it is advertised on website. Eg rump steak and chips and chicken supreme which was disappointing. Staff of note was James, who was a delightful, friendly and professional young man in the restaurant. Good value for money stay

We stayed in the delphinium room which was quite nice although the bathroom is definitely in need of an upgrade. The toilet seat didn't fit properly and the bath panel and shower cubicle and general paint work was very much past it's best. Also, in the bedroom there was no mirror other than inside the wardrobe which seemed rather strange. This is our third visit to Nunsmere Hall and we shall no doubt visit again but not in the delphinium room, it was the poorest of the three rooms to which we have been in. Overall we enjoy our stays at Nunsmere and the staff are always very friendly and professional.
