Had a lovely 2 night stay here. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Walking into the hotel you know how good the hotel is going to be. Room was amazing, plenty of room, lovely extra large bed and very clean. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices and again the staff were lovely and helpful. Will defo be back and will highly recommend to friends and family.

Great central position. Clean, well equipped room. Decor a bit dated, but didn't reduce our satisfaction. Car park is good value, but beware if your car is wide - it's pretty narrow. My Corsa had no problem at all.

WiFi is not secure as it's an open network. Breakfast was fine but you have to order eggs other than scrambled, and it took a while to get two poached - when they came they were overcooked. Breakfast is a simple dish to prepare and cook, eggs the simplest.

Generally not good value for money. Room was ok size, bed was a small double bed, bathroom was dated with a poor shower pressure. Hotel is well situated so probably the reason it was so expensive, but wouldn't recommend, much better options for city centre hotels.

Room hadn't been cleaned properly. Teaspoon was smeared with dried yoghurt or something similar. Bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, suspicious mark/spillage on floor and dirty toilet seat. Glass had toothpaste remains in the bottom.

This hotel was beautiful and the staff were wonderful. Owen at the front desk was always so helpful and kind! Everyone there made our stay lovely. It’s right across the street from Nottingham Castle as well which I loved. Can’t wait to go back again!

The hotel is undergoing what appears to be a paint refresh, so this probably clouded my judgement slightly. That said, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was ok, but dresser doors wouldn’t close, paint was chipped and generally it looked well worn. The hotel location is great and the nearby restaurants are well worth a visit. The bed was very comfy so that’s a plus. Overall our experience was good, but could have been better.

I will never stay in this hotel again. To put it simply, the rooms are claustrophobic, dated, shabby, with damage all over the walls and furniture. The bathrooms are minuscule and mouldy. The walls are made of paper it seems, as you can hear neighbours snoring. A good old Premier Inn would be a much better option. The only good thing during my stay was the friendliness of the staff. But, still never again.

The hotel is in a wonderful area, right next to the castle and within a good walking distance of the tram in nottingham. The hotel itself was clean but there was some renovations/construction going on so there was some plastic on the floor coming out of the lift on our floor and some drilling i could faintly here, but it wasnt intrusive. The only issues we had with the room were the sofabed not being comfortable, and there seemed to be some sewer gas coming up through the shower. I would definitely stay again just getting a seperate room if more then two people are staying.
