We were there for our wedding with a number of other couples. The hotel was undergoing building work but really went out to highlight our wedding which wax so appreciated- the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious but we were moved due to issues in the room eg air con no working properly. I thought would highly recommend the hotel.

We only stayed for one night and overall had a pleasant stay, but there were a few things that future guests should be aware of. The location is excellent, especially if you’re visiting Stamford Bridge. Even as someone who isn’t a Chelsea supporter, I enjoyed walking around the stadium. The outside of the complex is impressive, with plenty of Chelsea history, displays and photo opportunities. There was also a visible security presence throughout the area, which made us feel very safe during our stay. However, the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment, and this wasn’t made clear before we arrived. The main entrance and building shown in the booking photos were closed, so we had to check in through the Hotel at Chelsea Football Club entrance instead. Breakfast was served in the main building, but we had to walk over and use a side entrance to access it. The overall experience felt quite different from what we expected based on the listing. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working, which made the room uncomfortable. We also asked reception on our first evening for an extra pillow for the sofa bed. We were told someone would bring one up, but it never arrived. We understand refurbishment has to happen from time to time, and this may also have affected the atmosphere inside the hotel. I just think guests should be made aware before booking if the main entrance, facilities and usual hotel experience are significantly affected.

I stayed at the Stamford Bridge hotel last summer and was very impressed with the quality and atmosphere of the hotel. As a Chelsea fan myself, I was also very happy staying there too. This summer as I wanted to stay there again, but following my recent visit, I was so disappointed that I will not go back. No body advised me of the refurbishment that was underway. The staff didn’t seem to be able to answer my questions on several aspects of my stay and so many amenities were not available. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a long while

I stayed during one of the hottest days of the year and was given a room with a non‑functioning AC. I reported it immediately and was told maintenance would check it, but no one came. Even after reminding the front desk before leaving for the evening, there was still no update when I returned around midnight.The night staff said there was no maintenance available and offered either a fan or a move to a smaller room that didn’t match my booking. At nearly 1AM, exhausted and uncomfortable, I had no choice but to accept the fan.The “compensation” was a complimentary breakfast between 07:00–09:00 — not helpful after a sleepless, overheated night.I also tried contacting management afterwards, but received no response at all. Overall, very poor communication and an unacceptable experience.

Lovely staff who were very helpful. Comfy bed in a big room with good sound proofing. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of choices on the buffet, both hot and cold. Including stir fried rice, salad, grapefruit, very creamy scrambled eggs plus the usual items you'd expect.

The hotel was undergoing renovation which we were only informed of at check in. Really noisy from 8.am in the morning there was no proper hotel lobby so we had to walk through building side barriers and hoardings. For breakfast had to go outside and up through a fire staircase.

The hotel reception is closed with lots of building work being carried out including new carpet being fitted. The reception for check in is at the other called The Hotel. First room they allocated had a broken small old TV that had no signal. The bed was damaged and the air conditioning which I was then told it wasn’t air conditioning but a cooling system wasn’t working and the room was very hot. I reported this and it took 90 minutes before a manager came to my room he tried to fix the TV but couldn’t. He then left the room and came back in 15 minutes and said he needed to move me to another room as he could definitely not fix the TV. He offered me breakfast as gesture. When I went to the restaurant I was not down on the list to get for breakfast so on the second day I decided to forget breakfast as not sure I would be on the list. In the restaurant this morning they had an omelette burning in the pan with no chef in sight. The new room wasn’t much better and only had 2 electric power sockets, one was for the kettle and not next to the bed and a USB ports at the desk didn’t work. The USB ports were replaced by a friendly engineer who was very helpful on the 2nd day in the afternoon to USB and USB-C ports. The room smells damp. The hotel is a total building site and should be closed in my opinion until the renovation work is complete. They also switched the

Great location - amazing value for SW London. The room is nice size, albeit v small beds for twins. Lovely A/C during the heatwave. 10 quid for full English breakfast was really nice. Staff at checki-n and restaurant hiding behind phones, screens, but the housekeeping staff nice at least. Great location, did I mention that?

Not many amenities. Rooms were BERY outdated-felt like we were back in time a couple of decades. Bed was quite comfortable, which was nice. Need washcloths, not just towels, in the bath. Room was clean, just so outdated that it was hard to tell and the carpet surely had seem much better days-a long long time ago. Staff were VERY pleasant and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Stamford Bridge Hotel! The location couldn't have been more convenient—it’s incredibly close to the train lines, making it a breeze to get around London, and the surrounding area is packed with plenty of great restaurant options. The hotel itself was remarkably clean, modern, and comfortable throughout our visit. One of the absolute highlights was the Franke's Sports bar. The staff there were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made for a great atmosphere to unwind in after a long day of sightseeing. Plus, as a wonderful bonus, we received a discount at the bar just for being hotel guests! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great hospitality, cleanliness, and perfect transit links in London. We would definitely stay here again.

Great breakfast, tho it wasn't free. Clean room, fantastic staff/customer service. Honestly the only thing I really wasn't a fan of was that the AC was not great, particularly since I was there during a heat wave. But then, I'm told AC is not a very commonly good think in the UK in general, so...there you are! And they did actually bring a fan up unasked when I complained about the temp. In all, an excellent budget stay!

We had a great stay for 4 nights. Friendly and helpful service staff. Very clean and quiet rooms. About 5 min walk to Fullham Broadway tube station. AC was working well in the summer.
