Decent hotel for two nights stay. Close to Victoria station for access into central London. Breakfast was quite thoughtful in that they served vegetarian/vegan sausages to cater for most dietary requirements. Would consider staying again.

Room was perfect - hotel was being refurbed but was fine for a one night stay.

The room itself was ok. Clean fresh bedding and towels. Although the whole building was dated and needed maintenance, you could look past that if only staying for one night like us (I wouldn’t stay any longer) Shower and toilet was clean but not a lot of room to move. I would avoid the breakfast, it was busy and we didn’t mind waiting but was then told to sit on a table that had already been given to another couple 5 minutes before by the same lady. The milk carton was just left out on the table, I’m guessing since the start of service. When the breakfast came (a standard sausage, egg and beans, no other options) it was cold and inedible. The eggs had weird jelly blobs on top. Whilst we were there the chief told a costumer to go into the kitchen and heat their own hot drinks in the microwave. What worries me more is they are displaying a 5* food rating on their door but a quick google will tell you they have 1*.

Room was clean and tidy, and staff were very friendly and helpful, for the price, location and service I would definitely book here again.

The beds are incredibly firm, like sleeping directly on springs. Bare minimum cleanliness. Very much a hostel.

The room was just ok for the price as was the breakfast but the bed had no mattress protector and the thin bottom sheet looked like a single on a double bed so no overlap and a very cheap quilt cover.The owner was very nice explaining that the place was being "overhauled" which it is definately in need of.

Hot breakfast provided each morning by friendly staff.

My boyfriend and I are having a skin reaction caused by an insect called bedbugs. We only slept two nights at the hotel, and now we have several marks on our skin and irritation.

Our room looked nothing like the photos on the website! The paint was peeling off the walls. We heard rats inside the walls. The toilet was leaking water from the bottom. The shower head was leaking and not hung up. There was a weird door in our bathroom that lead outside. The floor and sheets were dirty.

Bed bugs in the room. Asked for an incident report. Told we would get one. When we went to collect this, the staff member lied and said that we had previously refused it. One star is too many!

Room was OK but; No extractor fan in the toilet/shower room Breakfast was very limited in options. One cereal, Wheatabix. Bacon, egg and veggie sausage. Soft, undercooked white toast, plus jam Good coffee and ok tea. Breakfast room was not very clean. No glasses or tea/coffee facilities in bedroom which mean walking down 3.5 flights of stairs then back up again!! Staff were friendly and polite.

Room is so old and shabby. Decoration is dreadful, bed is lumpy and uncomfortable. Pillows were awful. Black mould on the windows. Shower wasn't hot. Sink had disconnected from the section below it. No soundproofing at all. You can hear anything and everything from other rooms. Awful!

Staff were excellent. Everything was adequate for a two star hotel. Could do with kettles etc in the room

Courteous staff

The room wasn’t up to par at all. First, the shower was awful, no warm or hot water! Shower need some work on it. Secondly, the blow dryer didn’t have a UK plug on it. Thirdly, tv only had 2 channels. Lastly, someone was praying or chanting extreme loudly from below in the office area. Unfortunately we won’t stay there again! Only thing that was good was it was close to Victoria Station.

It is definitely Budget friendly but not clean at all, the place is under construction and my room was not finished and black mold was in the shower.

Clean room nice staff

The room was well appointed but the mattress uncomfortable. There was a strong smell of cleaning product which was only dispelled by leaving the window open - hotels must realise that strong scents are a problem for people with sensitivites. The corridors and stairs were very tatty and unpleasant. I didn't sample breakfast as I had to leave - a 7:30 start is too late for London. Proximity to Victoria Station was useful.
