Every member of staff we had contact with (reception, bar and breakfast) were so lovely and welcoming.
My son who is 4 and has SEN needs finds it difficult in new places, and all the staff just allowed him to be a little boy with no judgement being passed, which as a SEN mother means so much, they all put me immediately at ease.
The room was made up with a separate bed for my son too!
The dinner we had was adjusted to suit his beige eating habits. There was nothing that was too much!

Extremely comfortable overnight stay. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Room good size with all amenities and somewhere to actually hang clothes. Two easy chairs very much appreciated, so many hotels only have one per room. Plenty of on site parking

Great facilities, lovely pool, sauna and steam room. Lovely spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Some of the carpets are tired and need replacing.

Had university reunion of 10 friends at the hotel and we all ate dinner in the restaurant. Restaurant service and food was excellent for the dinner. Less impressed with faulty key card system that prevented access to the first two rooms allocated to my wife and me at check-in. Overall, we'd be happy to go back.

One of the bedside light wasn't working. The shower was almost impossible to figure out (and I use multiple hotels a year) and clearly wasn't working properly. Staff were GREAT and very good breakfast.

Overall great stay, very friendly staff and clean hotel. Found us a table in restaurant whilst event was on which was very nice. Pool area was not very tidy, towels left everywhere as not clear message where to leave them. No conditioner available in gym/pool area, own goal. Room was clean just a bit tied around the edges, small older tv.

The hotel is situated about a five minuet drive from the town, which makes it much quieter than staying in the town center. The grounds are well kept and there is ample parking and EV charging facilities.
The staff were polite and helpful and the breakfasts were substantial and excellent quality.
The room we stayed in was a good size, clean and well appointed.
We didn't use the gym or pool but they looked very inviting. We enjoyed out stay and would love to come back some time.

Had a lovely time staying with friends. Fantastic breakfast. Pool was smaller than we expected but ok. Liked the sauna and steam room.

Lovely hotel and great staff. The lounge bar drinks are reasonably priced and restaurant food was great. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are a good size and in a good condition.
Only things that let the hotel down was the spa being in need of some TLC and the rooms had paper-thin walls. The walls were a shame as it meant you could hear everything happening in the room next door all night (we were even woken up one night by someone laughing in the room next door).
Review would be 5* if it wasn't for the things above, other than that it is a really nice hotel.

Had a great time celebrating a family gathering.
Food was great, staff were helpful and friendly and facilities were good. Loved the games room which kept everyone amused.
Hotel is starting to date in parts and could potentially have a freshen up. Corridors were chilly and frayed stair carpets.
Overall a great stay and would recommend it.
