Telegraph is an outstanding, comfortable stay every time. There is no fault, apart from the fact we are not a fan of the change from using The White Company products to the new products they use currently, they do not smell nice at all. We have to bring our own shampoo, shower gel, and hand wash each time now, but apart from this 10/10.

Ridiculous room with poor facilities, split between floors with industrial style and dodgy open metal staircase. Shower too hot, temperature control fell off when trying to adjust. No bottled water in room on arrival. Mediocre breakfast. Safer in a Premiere Inn where you know what to expect.

Hotel is great, but Parking is now an issue. NCP is derelict and used by homeless and such like. One of the alternatives is the shopping centre, but that closes between 6pm and am so there is no access to your vehicle. Advice is plan ahead and know where the parking is.

Excellent central location - close to the shopping centre and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent - self-service over the weekend and to order before I left on Monday. New hot drinks machines had been recently installed when I visited in late June. Coffee was good. Staff were excellent. Bar food and drinks were good. There is a rooftop bar, which was excellent and an alternative to the ground-floor bar. There is no on-site parking. Parking choices are about 10 minutes' walk away. The main NCP multi-story car park has been closed since the company went into administration. I parked at Salt Lane, a multi-story car park which cost me £13.00 for 24 hours.

It was the hottest day of June and the room was an ice box. Totally worth the money. It was such a beautiful big room, would totally recommend staying here much better than any Travelodge/Premier inn etc. Very swift and easy check in and free WiFi

Very stylish hotel that maximises on its history. The decor is well appointed. I did find that the hotel shower head wasn't great with many of the water holes clogged with limescale and mould. These would benefit from a deep clean. Another criticism is that the roof top bar has slow service and the men's toilets had no hand soap. This was asked for but never materialised. Everything else was clean.
