Everything about this hotel was excellent, the only thing that wasn’t, the duvet was too heavy. That is personal taste and others may find it perfect.

We were in a Jr. Suite. The AC worked great, it is in a quiet street but in the heart of Marylebone so the location couldn't be better. Between Marylebone High St, Marylebone Lane and Chiltern St there is every kind of shop or restaurant anyone could ever want. The room was large and the bed was good. It is certainly NOT the cheapest option and at the price you do have other good options. One point worth making for those with mobility issues. To get into the hotel you have to climb 5 or 6 pretty steep steps. Not an issue if you are healthy, but you are not or if you use a walker you are going to have an issue. I have included a photo.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience fell well short of expectations, especially given the high price point. The room felt very dated – tired carpets, old furniture, outdated bathroom fixtures, and decor that seems unchanged for decades. For the rates charged, I expected a much more modern and refreshed space. Everything worked functionally, but it desperately needs a full renovation to justify the cost. Noise was another major issue. Whether it was thin walls, loud hallway traffic, or noise from adjacent rooms and the street, it was difficult to get a peaceful night’s sleep. Even with earplugs, the disturbances were noticeable. Staff were polite and check-in/out was smooth, but that couldn’t compensate for the core issues with the property itself. Overall, I found the hotel significantly overpriced for what it offers. There are many better options in the area that provide newer rooms and better sound insulation for similar or lower rates. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend it at the current pricing.

We had the accessible room on the ground floor by reception. No idea why we had that room. Unfortunately our door was just after the Cigar Bar so quite an aroma each time we left/ entered out room. Being on the ground floor its quiet noisy on the streets outside the window as is common in London but maybe the double glazing isn't the most effective. Maybe ask for a room higher up if you are a light sleeper. The hotel doesn't really have a bar area but has a restaurant/ breakfast area and the cigar bar. Check in/ check out was great, very quick.

The room was nice, and quiet. A little tired with some stains through the carpets and strange bathroom taps and chipped bath. But those things aren't reasons to not return etc. it was perfectly suitable. There was a strange service charge asked for on the morning of check out, after paying and then googling we find that is was a discretionary payment; and tbh this should have been communicated by the rather miserable reception staff that we experienced on the morning.

On departure they added a 4% Accommodation service charge that was not disclosed on the Hotel.com website when I booked and added 15% 'restaurant service charge' on to a bottle of wine we had in the lounge. They also charged for a soft drink they said I had taken from the mini bar in the room. I wasn't even aware there was a mini bar so had not used it. I emailed them afterwards and raised my concerns but they were unsympathetic and stated it was policy to apply such charges. I will not be visiting that hotel again.

Good location, rooms a bit small but comfortable and clean. The most disapponting aspect of the stay was the additional 'charges' we were told we had to pay when we arrived, whcih were not optional. I did not expect to be asked to pay a 'hotel service charge' for each night of the stay which was just under £10 a night. This was on top of any service charges at the bar. I asked what this was for and was told it was 'service whilst in the hotel'. I have never heard of this before and I would expect this to be included in the hotel price. We didn't have breakfast or use any additional services so it felt like an unnecessary add on and a bit cheeky. The receptionist then went on to say that this was an 'expensive area' so that is why there was this add on. This surprised me as people with money are already spending a lot - so why be asked to pay this? We bumped into a couple coming out the bar who were upset at their bar bill - x2 rum and cokes and the cost was £57 and said they didn't recommend going there as it felt such a rip off. This has put me off returning to this hotel to be honest - despite it being in a lovely location.
