Bathroom too close to the next building. Have to close the curtain of the window but the bathroom is a bit small

Walking distance to central shopping area! All the staff are very helpful and friendly and I definitely will stay here for my next trip in London!

nice hotel with reasonable price, good location, just few mins walk to underground and Selfridge

Lovely room in great location. Baker Street tube 5 min walk. Room was very well equipped. My only small gripe was taking a large holding deposit on arrival from my card. Far more than necessary. Also adding Service charges onto bill. All done without being pointed out. Didnt spend much time in Hotel as had numerous plans, so cant comment on restaurant/food/bar/drinks. Would stay again though

A microscopic room for £300. So small I ironed a shirt and there wasn’t enough space to keep the ironing board in the room!

The hotel is quiet, high-end, and located in a beautiful neighborhood with many restaurant options. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were professional and helpful. My only complaint is that our toilet constantly trickled water throughout the night. I would stay there again.

Small but OK for a few nights

We had a lovely overnight stay here. Although the decor in the rooms was a bit outdated, they were clean , air con worked and had a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was like a small charge on check out which hadn’t previously been advised, but overall 4/5.

Tiny wee room which needed more lighting

Stayed here as a hotel near Lords whilst watching the cricket. We were delighted that the hotel had the service of checking in before 10 and being able to leave our baggage and it being in our hotel room on our return from the cricket. The room I was allocated only had a 4’6 bed but fortunately I was not sharing. The room had all facilities that I required but there were definitely signs of wear and tear which needs to be addressed. Carpets were stained, paint work chipped and worn and a very ancient sky television controlled. The bathroom door was opaque and the blind in it was a white light material which meant that once sunrise occurred sleeping in was impossible. In my opinion a black out blind was needed. We upgraded to include breakfast at check in £20 per person which excellent. On checking out I was very surprised that there was a hefty accommodation service charge of £8.91 which I had certainly not anticipated as on my Expedia booking it stated including all taxes and service charges. As I was in a hurry to catch a train I didn’t question it.

It’s pretty terrible that a hotel of this standing has a broken lift! Staff said it had been a couple of days and might be fixed in a couple more! That’s awful! At checkout we were told about a ‘staff tip’ of 4% that could be deducted from the deposit we left. On top of the price paid?! Shameful! Staff should get paid decent wages from the rates the hotel asks for. Room was small but clean. I would not rush back to stay here

booked an upgraded room. Really tatty and poor quality. carpets peeling up, sky box screwed to the wall, dated decor. The place is in dire need of some renovation. Very much not worth the £300

Lovely staff and great service

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience fell well short of expectations, especially given the high price point. The room felt very dated – tired carpets, old furniture, outdated bathroom fixtures, and decor that seems unchanged for decades. For the rates charged, I expected a much more modern and refreshed space. Everything worked functionally, but it desperately needs a full renovation to justify the cost. Noise was another major issue. Whether it was thin walls, loud hallway traffic, or noise from adjacent rooms and the street, it was difficult to get a peaceful night’s sleep. Even with earplugs, the disturbances were noticeable. Staff were polite and check-in/out was smooth, but that couldn’t compensate for the core issues with the property itself. Overall, I found the hotel significantly overpriced for what it offers. There are many better options in the area that provide newer rooms and better sound insulation for similar or lower rates. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend it at the current pricing.

We had the accessible room on the ground floor by reception. No idea why we had that room. Unfortunately our door was just after the Cigar Bar so quite an aroma each time we left/ entered out room. Being on the ground floor its quiet noisy on the streets outside the window as is common in London but maybe the double glazing isn't the most effective. Maybe ask for a room higher up if you are a light sleeper. The hotel doesn't really have a bar area but has a restaurant/ breakfast area and the cigar bar. Check in/ check out was great, very quick.

The room was nice, and quiet. A little tired with some stains through the carpets and strange bathroom taps and chipped bath. But those things aren't reasons to not return etc. it was perfectly suitable. There was a strange service charge asked for on the morning of check out, after paying and then googling we find that is was a discretionary payment; and tbh this should have been communicated by the rather miserable reception staff that we experienced on the morning.

Excellent boutique hotel I. The middle of Marylbone. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. It has a cigar bar and restaurant. Very close to shops and dining. Definitely recommend this hotel!
