The staff were very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. The room was a little dated but comfortable and clean. It had a lovely jacuzzi bath! Breakfast was very good . Had a swim in the pool which was very clean and refreshing

We had an enjoyable mid week break. The hotel was a luxury for us but if i am honest the room definitely needs an update and care of the little things like missing rails on the curtains or the bathroom shelf needs securing to the wass more.

I was so excited to stay here. The reviews were positive, the parking (imperative), a good breakfast & the pool definite pluses. On arrival (I had told the hotel I would be late - arrived about 9pm) No parking available - I was told, 'its first come first served'. Fair enough, but there is no other parking & this wasn't communicated. I was told to use my phone to find a nearby school which should be ok to leave my car, or to find & park in the industrial estate behind (??) I had no idea where I was & it was dark. I did not feel safe. After driving round, I called the hotel, the, 'I'm just a receptionist', on duty could not put me through to a manager as she was now off duty, 'I could email them but they'd not get that till tomorrow'. So, the advice was, 'in your position I would honestly just book another hotel'. Still no reply to the messages sent. So. In conclusion. If it goes well, according to reviews, you'll probably have a great time. If it doesn't, don't expect any back up

Great service and spacious rooms! But this isn’t a hotel, it is a bed and breakfast with a pool. There is no where to get food or chill out and parking is very limited.

The hotel has a small carpark accommodating up to about 10 cars.It is conveniently located being just a short 15 minute walk from the centre of Canterbury. We stayed in room 14 on the second floor which was lovely and big (with a huge bathroom) but rather noisy, as it looked out over the main road, although secondary glazing helped surpress most of the road noise. The room was comfortable and clean with a good tv. Breakfast was self service with plenty of food beit a full English or continental and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel appears to be in the process of being refurbished as it was being painted externally (July '25) and clad in scaffold to the rear. Overall, the hotel provides decent accommodation to stay for a trip to Canterbury and I would use it again.

It's a small old kind of hotel, let's start with the negatives - small parking inside the hotel - rooms are a bit oldish - Aircon leaking in my room Now the positives - very affordable - it's clean - breakfast is very decent if not great for a little hotel - swimming pool is such a nice bonus - staff are all nice and welcoming (which is rare nowadays) If I have to come back to Canterbury, I would probably rebook this hotel.

We had a nice stay here, and the guy on reception (sorry, we didn't get his name) was supper friendly and informative The room was clean, although some of the furniture was a bit dated. Breakfast was a decent selection, especially considering this wasn't a big place

The staff here are fantastic. They go above and beyond to help their customers. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Absolutely satisfied with the service along with the location is pretty near from city centre

Staff very friendly and helpful especially Radu. Location excellent, short walk from town etc. our room didn’t have a hairdryer or bath robes as advertised, but I’m sure if we had asked we could have had this rectified. Most beds were very creaky!! Fantastic breakfast. Although we didn’t use the pool, we were told it was lovely from others. Comfortable room and free parking, we would stay again.

We booked this property because we were traveling from the US with children and it had a pool. I was surprised there was no lift and we were on the 3rd floor, which was a bit difficult to navigate the winding staircase with our large luggage. The amenities were not exactly as described- there was no shampoo or conditioner, just a single pump that we were told could be used for hand soap, body soap, and shampoo. The bar was a small room which was staffed by the same person running the front desk, so you may need to wait a bit to get a drink there. It is more of a bed and breakfast feel than a hotel feel to be honest. The staff were all very kind and helpful. During breakfast, they had some hot food, cereals, and coffee and tea. The staff brought fresh toast to the table. The building is beautiful and the kids really enjoyed the indoor heated pool each evening. Overall it was a nice experience but not exactly what we expected going into it.
