Great service from all staff, clean rooms and a fantastic location.

Nice hotel Decent room, restaurant good and good service from staff

Rock hard pillows, uncomfortable poor mattress for sons separate bed for ages up to 17, he is 16, yellow staining around shower rim, filthy shower waste. Breakfast had to wait ages for service, then had to keep prompting staff for follow up service, staff appeared subdued, tired, layhargic, we waited over an hour to get hot food, upon arrival in restaurant tables were left piled with dirty dishes, when we asked a staff member after an hour where our hot food was, he simply said "there's a back log" - no apology, no nothing, even a smile or an offer of a hot drink would have been nice. Very poor attitude from him . Sad because the waitress who took our order was warm and hospitable. When food eventually arrived it was cold, dry, and over cooked. Not worth the money or the wait. Such a disappointing shame. Told receptionist on way out about our experience, the reply came "unfortunately the extra beds in room are for children (my son is just 16), and we are sorry about the breakfast, and will make sure this is fed back. We said thank you and left.

Staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. The window frames could do with some bleach. The breakfast was good. The building is amazing. It is also a comfortable walk to the centre. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely room, with lots of character. Staff were friendly and helpful at checkin and checkout. The hotel overall has a good ambience, with nice grounds and Truro is centrally located in Cornwall. The breakfast was excellent too.

My wife and I had an fantastic stay, upon arrival we received an upgraded room. Which really made my wife's birthday extra special. The hotel and grounds were amazing! The staff were excellent, the room very spacious and clean. A wide selection for breakast, will definitely stay here again A wide choice

Lovely atmosphere and felt like they looked after us really well. Took my small dog, and felt no pressure. Lovely stay.

Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. Our room (12) was warm and comfortable. The bathroom was modern, with large shower and good quality towels. The room was well-stocked with local Cornish teas and coffees, and with extra touches.

Another excellent stay. We were in room 42 which is perfect for us as its on the ground floor. The staff are fantastic as always and the breakfast is delicious. Will definitely be going back.
