Very comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and quiet and had a massive bed. Only gripes were that the iron was broken and leaked water over my clothes, and the TV remote didn’t work…but if nobody had reported that before, they can’t be fixed! Excellent breakfast with an omelette cooked to order. Would stay again.

Breakfast is good. Nice and friendly staff. Unfortunately there is/was an issue with the plumbing. Whenever the adjacent room flushed the loo the most unpleasant sound (akin to someone playing a trumpet badly or someone drilling). Advised reception but as it was a Sunday morning it’s probably not surprising it wasn’t repaired). However, the problem meant a very disturbed couple of nights sleep.

On arrival we was given a room in an annexe, cold, damp, decor was tired to say the least, room phone did not work, ladders outside door to room with open access space in ceiling ( no workers in situ) On complaining was moved to room in main building. Restaurant staff at breakfast were great
