The Swan Motel

Great room ,one slight niggle ,the shower wasn’t hot enough ,I think the thermostatic valve needs replacing ,other than that a great stay ,staff were always pleasant and friendly .Would deffi ately recommend staying here if your visiting the area .

We travelled to the Swan Motel as we were attending a funeral locally. We picked the hotel due to the 11am check out and free breakfast offering but upon arrival was told that the listing on hotels.com had not been updated and there was now no breakfast included and check out was actually at 10am. The hotel did honour the free breakfast but we had to wait until the next morning to check on the check out time and was told that we could only stay until 10.30am. It was embarrassing to have to negotiate to receive what we paid for and during what was already a stressful and emotional time was not appreciated. Having said that, the honeymoon suite we booked was incredible, very spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. My only complaint is that the very modern TV was not connected to the internet so we were not able to watch Netflix etc. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower and good size bath. Removing the disappointment of the hotel listing being wrong, we had a good stay and would stay there again if we happened to be in the area.

One night only walking the Angles Way. Easy book in. The room was a little “tired” given the price charged but the evening meal and breakfast where excellent.

Really nice hotel. Staff very friendly, food was great. Only thing I would say is Beds were a bit springy but it was still a great stay.

This modern motel exceeded my expectations with it's stylish design and welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance is relaxing and well thought out, making it a great place to unwind. The staff are truly exceptional. They were friendly, attentive and great conversationalists. I would highly recommended this motel for its comfort, convenience and its warm inviting vibe..

The honeymoon suite is a beautiful room to stay…..and the breakfast is consistently the best cooked breakfast I’ve had anywhere! Thank you!

Good stay, very comfy ideal for what we needed. Lots of mold all over bathroom ceiling, it has been painted over albeit badly. Rooms need some TLC and revamp but other than that shower was nice ample room

Decent place, rooms quite dated. Had a few problems with faulty electrics and heating, but staff did a great job sorting them out. Nice and quiet room. Good pub too. Overall, not bad.

One of the cosiest and most homely places Ive stayed. Slightly under rated as a 2 star hotel. Very comfortable and clean.

Lovely little night away just what was needed before my daughter’s exams started. Great service very helpful and understanding staff with disability awareness (daughter is autistic). Lovely place, great meals and drinks
