The Z Hotel Victoria

The staff, especially Zuzana, was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us, close to coach and train transportation as well as the London sights we wanted to see. The windowless room we selected, based on the best rate, was very small but for our short visit was just fine. Would definitely stay here again.

Competitively priced way to stay in Central London with few frills - if all you need is a bed to rest your feet and a shower to wash up at the end of a day experiencing the city this is a great choice located near a tube station.

Room is very compact but I knew that when booking so it was not a problem, and we were only here one night for a theatre show. Its location is excellent for theatre shows at the Apollo and Victoria Palace, and also in walking distance to some big tourist attractions. Lots of cafes and restaurants very close by too. Was so thankful to have decent air conditioning in the room as it was 35 degrees in London when we arrived. Early check in was available on the day (small fee) which was great and also opted for a late check out the following day. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Overall I don’t think the hotel provided value for money. We paid £83 for 2 people for breakfast over 3 days, however it left a lot to be desired. There were a few things we chose not to eat because they had been left uncovered for hours. There also just wasn’t a lot of choice for the amount we paid. The room itself was adequate and the air con was very good. However, it kept making loud grating noises throughout the night which made it difficult to sleep. We were advised that the room would be cleaned every other day, but this did not happen at all. We found some hairs on the bed from previous occupants. Location-wise the hotel was ideal as we were only 5 minutes from the station. However for the amount paid, we expected a better experience for paying guests. The staff generally were really helpful, aside from the cleaners.

Property is starting to be a little dated Some soft areas on the floor that might mean damage The coat hanger position so if you use it the television is obscured. Still good value

Sleeping under ground, no windows with turn trains going by all ninny. Like being in a coffin. Serves a purpose but good luck.

Loud air conditioning unit and sounds of construction all morning long. We booked a no window room, it was literally a closet, nothing bad expect for the air flow. There was no airflow in the room but overall an average stay for a fairly decent price

Double room was very cramped - rather like a ships cabin. Fine for an overnight stay with excellent staff and good breakfast

My wife and I chose this hotel based on location. It’s only a 3 minute walk from the Victoria train station which is a main transportation hub. There are lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and it’s very close to a hop on hop off tour bus stop. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff were great. I will say that we found the tiny room size a bit of a pain for a 4 night stay but we made it work and we would stay here again.

The room was very tiny, small for 2 people, but clean, quiet and the location is super convenient! The staff was helpful and the available breakfast was quite good. We didn’t figure how to set ac so either kept it on or off. Don’t expect a window or closet.

The hotel is nice and clean. It is near to Victoria Train station

Did not use the airport shuttle. WiFi was good

Very tired hotel - room by lift doors which grated every time they opened. Bed felt like it was moving with the tube going past. Then at 6.15 all the housekeeping trolley started to bash around. That’s not to mention all the black mould in the shower which also leaked from the hose pipe everywhere
